So thankful for the opportunity to share Edwin’s story, and our friends at Tennessee for allowing us to do so! Please visit wanfambul.info to see all of the amazing things that the Spillman family are doing in Sierra Leone.
Tennessee LB Edwin Spillman was just 3 years old growing up in Sierra Leone, when his life would take a turn he never thought possible. Now he plays a game he loves for the family in the stands and the family in his heart ❤️ @MartySmithESPN

No defense. No offense. I'm sure coach will make some adjustments soon. Maybe.

Danny Santulli was a freshman at the University of Missouri. He had joined Phi Gamma Delta, also known as Fiji, hoping to find friendship, belonging, and a place where he could fit in. But the initiation process was becoming increasingly difficult. His family noticed the change and encouraged him to walk away. Danny didn’t. He didn’t want to be the person who quit. On October 19, 2021, the fraternity held an event known as “Pledge Dad Reveal Night.” What was supposed to be a fraternity tradition turned into a nightmare. Danny and other pledges were blindfolded and taken downstairs. According to evidence later recovered from the fraternity house, Danny was pressured to consume enormous amounts of alcohol. At one point, fraternity members poured beer through a funnel into his mouth. He was also expected to finish a bottle of vodka. He couldn’t. But the pressure continued. Eventually, Danny collapsed. Surveillance footage later showed him being placed on a couch. He remained there while time passed. At one point, he slid partly off the couch. Eventually, fraternity members carried him outside and put him into a car. When Danny reached the hospital, he wasn’t breathing. His heart had stopped. Doctors performed CPR and managed to restart his heart. His blood-alcohol level was extraordinarily high. Danny had suffered catastrophic brain damage. He survived—but his life would never be the same. After months in intensive care and rehabilitation, Danny eventually returned home to his family. He could no longer see. He could no longer walk. He could no longer speak normally. He needed help with almost everything. A young man who had gone to college looking for friendship and belonging had been left with life-changing injuries because a hazing ritual crossed a line that should never have existed. The story of Danny Santulli became more than a story about one fraternity. It became a warning about what can happen when humiliation is disguised as tradition, when dangerous drinking is treated as entertainment, and when people are more afraid of getting in trouble than they are of saving someone’s life. Danny’s family has spent years speaking publicly about what happened, hoping his story will prevent another family from receiving the phone call theirs received that night. Because no initiation is worth a life. And no friendship should ever require you to prove yourself by putting your life at risk.

If you’re not planning on being in the stands (at your seats) & being loud tomorrow, just stay at the house. Leave it to the rowdies. This ain’t the Masters. If that makes you mad, good. Redirect that energy to the game. Neyland better be deafening. 4 quarters. Put on more steam. Don’t let up

Texas fans: “Tennessee sucks. Y’all haven’t won anything since 1998.” Us: Neither have you in 20+ years. Texas fans: “We won 12 games our first year in the SEC!” Us: With the softest SEC schedule known to mankind. Texas fans: “We made the SEC Championship!” Us: And lost. Congrats? 😂 The way Texas fans talk, you’d think they’ve been running college football alongside Georgia and Alabama for the last decade. Since 2021: Tennessee: 48-20 Texas: 51-20 Three games separate us. But sure… tell us more about the Texas dynasty.

Must be STUPID people running this city of Fremont, California. Somehow I'm not surprised.
🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter... ...because he was HOMESCHOOLED. Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up. His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska. Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT. He is doing the job. For free. All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love." So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department. And in April, the city rejected him. Why? Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled. That's it. That's the whole disqualification. Not his EMT license. Not his fitness. Not his record. Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!! ...how he was educated. The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school." That's all it said. He graduated high school. He has a diploma. And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description. His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him: "I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him." Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid. And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy. Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors. And this young man is the proof. At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch. When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school. You will not ask if his diploma was accredited. You will thank GOD he came. Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words: "I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity." That's a better man than the policy that rejected him. Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it. Fix this. Hire him!!!!!!!

I gotta say this. Nobody’s perfect. But it’s extremely dissapointing to hear a college football player go on and on during a post game interview about how great our God is…only to end his public interview with an F bomb on national tv. Little eyes are always watching.

WORD
Feminists love to call housewives "unpaid workers" as if we're being exploited. Let me tell you what my "unpaid" life looks like. I wake up without an alarm. I make breakfast for my children while my husband heads off to provide for us. I spend my mornings teaching my kids, playing with them, watching them grow. I cook meals from scratch. I keep our home beautiful and peaceful. Meanwhile, the "empowered" career woman wakes up to an alarm at 6am, drops her kids off with strangers, sits in traffic, spends 8 hours making someone else rich, sits in traffic again, picks up fast food because she's too exhausted to cook, and collapses into bed dreading tomorrow. And I'm the one being exploited?? The only thing I'm missing is a boss who doesn't care about me and a paycheck that mostly goes to daycare.

More important than all of that's he's a redeemed child of God and he's sharing that with this dark world
From Walkon, missing an entire season cause of injury, to being a backup, to now dominating College Football Checkmate from DeSean Bishop.
