Valve’s stance on ban evasion is super confusing. If you get VAC banned, Steam Support literally tells you that you can still play on a new account. So why should VAC net ban smurfs or ban evaders if Steam hasn’t made it a clear part of their policy?
A CS2 reddit user created a new account to see if he could trigger a false positive with the new AC updates Valve has implemented into their game.
The results do not surprise me. Basically he was caught smurfing and the game found him and dragged him out.
IMO the game did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do. Issuing a cool down for smurfing the game.
Am I wrong here to think that? Seems most logical correct?

In a system where strategizing for points is encouraged, and teams have staff roles figuring out the best way to farm points.. You can't later punish them for strategizing for the sake of more points because you've already opened the door to thinking outside the server.

Forgive me if i’m misunderstanding this, but wouldn’t it be an easy fix to only be allowed to use both the nationality and VRS points from your core? As in, you cant use the new players’ nationality unless u inherit their VRS points debuff by making them part of the core?
