One thing I want all the Americans on here to understand about Scandinavian countries is that none of them actually produce anything useful and they are extremely brainwashed individuals on average. I live in Norway so believe me I know what I'm talking about. 70% of the topics on the news are about Trump and USA, and the citizens, who are primarily liberals, are brainwashed to think America is Afghanistan. I'll never forget when I had an eye test few days after the US Election for new contact lenses and the chick was telling me I should order an extra package in case Trump “blocks the production with our country.” I promised myself I won't use insults on Twitter anymore but I'd add one right here. An American who is hardworking, or even a European, would not like to live here because it only benefits mediocre people given the system is designed that way, and the more hardworking you are, the more you get punished with taxes. At “work,” nobody really does anything, and working is just the “illusion” of work, typically within corporate. And it's so easy to scheme the system with “sick pay” and other “mental health issues,” which is why the people who work the hardest get destroyed, as you have to take from somebody in order to give to the other. This guy, funny enough, thinks all of what he wrote is a “flex,” but what he fails to realize is that the immigrants who arrive are doing the same thing as he does, except that the vast majority of them don't work and fully utilize the tax benefits while having way more children than the natives; and their benefits come from hardworking people's tax money, who will inevitably also be replaced. If you are an entrepreneur and want to start something within AI or any other modern field, you will get destroyed by “laws and regulations” and pay way more taxes than a 9-5, when in reality you should be paying less, given that you're hiring people and creating jobs. Now, I don't want people to think that ALL Scandinavians are like this because America has a lot of Scandinavians whom they love and who are good people, but as I said, the best ones will leave or have left. This is also why Europe will never be able to compete with America and China in the AI race, because Europeans who are smart leave this place to join Team America. Scandinavians will also scream about “free healthcare,” but the healthcare system is full of mediocre individuals and you're treated like you're in a 3rd world country. I've been through it, and believe me, it's garbage, and it's also not even free, given that you pay with your taxes. Scandinavia ranks among the highest in feminism and “equality,” to the point where they don't even realize how bad of a long-term effect it will have, because this only effects the native citizens, given the immigrants are still traditional. The birth rates are in the gutter, there are no gender roles, women are becoming more masculine, men are becoming more feminine, hookup culture is normalized, divorces are pretty high and a country like Denmark ranks among the highest in STDs. Sweden is the first domino to fall, Denmark will be next, and Norway which is the best country of them all, will follow after.

I’m tired by the “everything is free in Scandinavia” line. Healthcare isn’t free. University isn’t free. Childcare isn’t free. We pay for it every month through some of the highest taxes in the world. Top rates in the 50s. VAT at 25%. Taxes on income, work, energy, cars, food, and fuel. Then people online act like the bill just vanished. And now look at the petrol station. Denmark is among the most expensive places on earth to fill a tank because of taxes. If you like the Nordic welfare state, fine. Defend it honestly. But stop selling it as a magic trick. Nothing here is free. We just get the invoice each an every month.
