In order to call oneself Sovereign, a Nation must have certain attributes. - The capacity to make it's own decisions free from outside power structures. - Dependent on no one. - A distinct culture. - Innovate and produce multiple different goods on the land in order to trade with others. - Complete energy security in all facets. - The means to defend all of the above and most importantly it's full territorial integrity by itself. Canada is the furthest thing from Sovereign there is. That's why it's fake.
