Albo’s favourite story: poor little council-house kid, mum crippled with rheumatoid arthritis, sliding down the stairs on her arse every morning because she couldn’t walk them. He tells it like a morality play like he’s Gandhi. What he doesn’t mention is that in 1990, aged 26, he bought a house in Marrickville and moved out. She stayed in the Camperdown council house she had been born in in 1936 and lived in for 65 years. Same stairs. Same disability pension. Same address he later turned into a political prop. He was born at St Margaret’s Hospital, Darlinghurst, then raised in that house. He left it. She didn’t. She died there in 2002. She collapsed in the laundry of that house on Mother’s Day 2002 and died in hospital two weeks later. Still on the disability pension. Still in public housing. Still with the stairs he loved talking about. Still suffering with the crippling rheumatoid arthritis he uses to score points with. Meanwhile he was already on the property ladder. Today he rents out homes, lives rent-free at The Lodge, and bought a $4.3 million clifftop place on the Central Coast. The man who never moved his own mother off those stairs now lectures the country about housing and “leaving no one behind.” He left her behind. On the stairs. For twelve years. Then cashed in the story and gave us crocodile tears!! Actually pathetic. This farktard using his own mother to try and score political points with the public!!

The attacks from Chalmers and Albanese on One Nation have become increasingly desperate. Yesterday they crossed a line. No matter how worried Jim and Albanese are about losing their jobs, telling Australians that their democratically elected opponents are “dangerous” and a “threat to our country” invites people to treat them as a threat. Words have consequences. That is how political violence is incited. The murder of Ann Widdecombe in Britain should be warning enough about the dangers of poisonous political rhetoric. Anthony Albanese says we need to turn down the heat and violent rhetoric in our political discourse. Meanwhile, he and his Treasurer are pouring petrol all over it. Australians are entitled to vote for One Nation without being told by the Treasurer and the Prime Minister that their democratic choice is a danger to the nation. The real danger is that Jim and Albanese's incompetent economic management will continue to push your rent, your mortgage and your bills even higher. The real danger to Jim and Albanese is that the people of Australia are coming for their government… at the ballot box.

Lebanese Muslim guy with Hezbollah neck tattoos went around Sydney firebombing cars and spray painting “FUCK ISRAEL.” New South Wales Supreme Court Judge Desmond Fagan ruled that his Hezbollah neck tattoos did not necessarily indicate support for Hezbollah or Hezbollah ideology. Judge Fagan also found that his actions - setting fire to random cars and spray painting “FUCK ISRAEL” everywhere - were “understandable” in light of his Lebanese Shia Muslim background. I guess if you’re a Lebanese Muslim in Australia, you’re just legally allowed to act like a total retard whenever war starts breaking out in the Middle East. Senior judges of the Supreme Court won’t expect you to assimilate.
