Now Paul, while that may be true, it's ahistorical. The greatest blunder in political history was the 19th amendment.

He could have waited until tomorrow to do it.

Huge mistake. And when asked about cost of living Trump was dismissive and touted the stock market/GDP. People don鈥檛 care about that.

and yet, it was the RIGHT call for national and international security. We all get tired of 'leaders' who's ONLY goal in office is to be re-elected next time.

This is very true. I knew from the start the action in Iran would have consequences. Trump was trying to save the world; we wanted him to save us from the evil communists and socialists in America.

They destroyed the coalition that could have governed for 30 years. Trump gave the people that despise him and his coalition everything they wanted and we got nothing except a temporarily close border. It's a tragedy reminiscient of the Greek tragedies.

People don't care about Iran & it was the right thing to do. Trump's mistake was not bombing Iran harder in April to force it to capitulate, and instead dragging out the war all year to the midterms by refusing to escalate.

People weren鈥檛 forced to turn on Trump for Iran. They could have supported it. That鈥檚 what a patriot does. He assumes the president has knowledge he doesn鈥檛 have, and goes along with him. Also, if the Dems win big it鈥檚 not going to to be because Rs stayed home so much as because Latinos and other minorities turned on Trump over mass deportations. There鈥檚 very little we can do about these essentially traitorous voters.

And might have ushered in the end of the republic. Trump is fucked. He鈥檒l be impeached. Then the Dems will solidify their power base so that there is no chance of a republican winning the presidential election, and then it鈥檒l be lawfare and communism/socialism and civil war.
