Very true. The reverse can also happen. An aortic pseudoaneurysm or an aortic avail fistula could be the result of a malignant mass.
🚨 Not every retroperitoneal mass is cancer. A chronic contained ruptured AAA masqueraded as malignancy, causing hydronephrosis and challenging anatomy. This case shows why the right diagnosis—and the right operation—matter.
