Simultaneously, African culture is underrepresented in global gaming, and there are limited avenues for culturally rooted content to reach a worldwide audience through interactive media. Savanna Run addresses these gaps by existing at their intersection. Our solution combines three key elements: Engaging gameplay, a fast and intuitive mobile runner that anyone can pick up in seconds; Cultural immersion, with African environments, characters and Storytelling that are integral to the game rather than mere decorations; and seamless Web3 integration. Players can jump into the game instantly, play without friction and gradually interact with onchain elements through gameplay itself, rather than through a complex onboarding process that requires trust before it’s earned. Savanna Run serves as both an entertainment product and a genuine user engagement layer, offering an entry point into the ecosystem through play rather than a financial pitch. Our ultimate goal is straightforward: onboard new users into on-chain ecosystems through gameplay, enhance engagement and retention, showcase African culture to a global audience in an interactive format and establish a scalable model for culturally rooted games in Web3. Without it, the legacy they had safeguarded for generations was on the brink of being lost forever. Driven by a sense of duty, Kesi embarked on a perilous journey to retrieve it, alone and resolute. He successfully did and as he runs home, Kesi traverses the vast open savanna, past bustling riverside villages and through vibrant markets alive with noise and color. Each stretch of ground presents its own challenges, drawing him closer to home and danger as he is relentlessly pursued by the shadow courier. Simultaneously, the baton drains his life force gradually, demanding that he maintain his strength. However, Kesi is not alone in this quest. More runners, from diverse regions and with their own compelling stories, will join him.
