This woman is an opportunist. She did not call for the Secretary of State to sack the Parades Commission a few weeks ago when they royally messed up. Instead, she and her party misjudged what any lay person could see coming down the tracks, and now she's bouncing on a bandwagon. She should go back to Dublin (where she lives far away from the tension the rest of us have to live with) and let the court deal with the issue.

I feel that I need to address this 🤣 The grass is soaking wet. Not only that, so much rain fell last night that the ground is now sodden and the dogs running around are starting to make it muddy. Most Beloved Wife got in touch to say that Evie did good today. She ate well and was fairly settled. She still had to scoop her up like a rugby ball to get her in from the garden, of course 🤣 Last night she needed help to find her bed. Tonight she found it herself and appears to be having an early night. I miss her. But by 5.30pm tomorrow I will be going through the door with some new treats I got at @homebargains earlier. Lamb chews, of all things lol I bet she is initially nervous with me and then when I get close remembers me. If I get a tail wag I'll be delighted. If not, I'll still be delighted. Things that are just too much for her right now: 1. Strangers. I usually bring my kids to stay over on a Friday night but decided not to this week. Maybe next week. 2. Stairs. Our other dug sleeps in our bedroom. Evie has a bed waiting for her there too if she ever feels brave enough. I am not lifting her up the stairs because it is simply too dangerous/risky to have to lift her down again. She might always be a downstairs dog and that is ok 3. TV. She is unsure of it. She'll watch it from another room but not the same room. 4. Fast hand movements. Really unsettling and she bolts. 5. Unexpected noises. Can send her crashing away And crazily, this is actually only day 5 of the home trial. Hasn't she done well? From hiding behind the shed, to not eating for a full day and just lying in her bed, completely shut down. From that scare she got when I knocked over the metal towel rail and she pee'd herself and spent 14 hours afterwards in her bed. But there is a little hound personality in there just starting to peek out and that is very exciting. I can already see a bit of rascal in her. Wonder who she might get that from? 🤣

It's a hound thing. They are very stubborn. When you get to the stage of taking her for walks you will reach a junction and find that you want to go one way and she wants to go the other. She will always win.
