Great news, very scary scene last night glad to hear things are okay
Georgia Tech Football’s Jaylen Mbakwe was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for precautionary observation following his injury in the third quarter of Saturday night’s game vs. Tennessee. He was evaluated overnight and has been released.
Jaylen and Georgia Tech appreciate all who have taken the time to express concern and support.

Jordan Walker was just carried off the field with zero weight being put on either leg, he was in an immense amount of pain. The cart and stretcher are being brought out for the other Jacket that is down on the field.

Absolutely nothing good about GT's final offensive possession of the 1st half. Getting the ball with 4:21 left and visibly playing for a field goal is bad enough. But then an absolutely terrible interception by Mendoza to make sure that even that field goal doesnt happen is bad.

2nd quarter has been all Tennessee so far. A pick 6 and a touchdown pass after a ticky tacky PI have Tennessee cooking. GT's offense has been struggling so far.

- The offense has had a lot of emphasis on the short and quick game, the run game remains non-existent with only 4 yards. Seems like a patchwork solution for the o-line
- Special teams remains a massive plus and difference maker
- defense looks solid

10-7 Georgia Tech after a very chaotic 1st quarter. Tennessee has looked very explosive on offense while Tech has seemed more methodical. A blocked punt remains the biggest difference maker right now with Tennessee in the redzone.

Mendoza gets sacked on 3rd and 25 and comes up limping. Getting looked at by the trainers on the sideline but seems to be saying hes fine on the tv
