To take a phrase from a friend, welcome to our second birth! Weekly Shogakukan Edition is now Strict Algorithm LLC.
As noted on the quoted tweet, not much will change (not even the @) --this is to be legally distinct from Shogakukan. We'll still be doing threads, contests, and translations as always.
Shogakukan is still going to be the key focus, *but* with this new name the hope is going forward we'll be applying our talents to J-culture/media of all kinds and publishers!
Big thanks to @andysislands for the awesome transitional gif, and @soragsilverwind for the new logo.

Announced today at @mangamavericks #SDCC2025 industry panel:
Starting in August, “Weekly Shogakukan Edition” as it is now will be absorbed into my new LLC “Strict Algorithm.”
Fast facts:
✅By the end of August this and all of our accounts will have changed names.
✅Day to day operations will *not* change. Nor will the @ (we’ll still be WSSTB on tags, just not in name.)
✅ This is being done to further make us legally distinct from Shogakukan.
✅The logo (designed by @soragsilverwind) will be as depicted below beginning August 1st.
