Starting each Monday the right way 💪 We have been running #fitness sessions for the people we support with young onset dementia, delivering a mixture of seated exercises, functional fitness & games. We've also ditched the tea and biscuits for water and fresh fruit 🍓

At Pangbourne Village Fete our charity loved making links with other organisations and talking with members of the community about what we do. Our team offered glitter tattoos for a donation & a bookmark designing activity, engaging both children and adults all day! ✨ #dementia

The biggest bubbles ever 🫧 At #circus skills our group enjoyed playing plate spinning, learning diabolo and devil stick tricks as well as acing juggling with scarves and then balls. We loved getting outside and making giant bubbles in the sun, just look at those happy faces ☺️

Our #walking group in Surrey have enjoyed socialising & reeping the mental and physical benefits of being outside amongst nature. On Monday we were lucky enough to start off the 3km walk with a bacon bap. A highlight has been making it to the top of the High Curley Hill Summit 😍

Can you guess which film we watched at our Film Club in Newbury? 🤠 At our workshops we have discussed and watched Star Wars, Toy Story & most recently - Indiana Jones! We chose films based on recommendations of the people we support, which we hope provided reminiscence and fun.

We’ve have had so much fun bouldering and climbing with @oakwoodclimbing. For some of the people we support with young onset dementia, this is an activity they never would have thought of doing without our charity’s workshops. Watch this space, next we will be trying archery 🏹

We're bringing 70's back 🕺 Our first social event of 2024 brought all of those we support with young onset dementia & their family members together to have fun. We danced, sang, enjoyed fish & chips, pick'n'mix and 70's based quizzes but most of all we loved everyone's outfits!

Every Monday morning we have been starting the week with fitness classes ran by personal trainer Keith. As well as improving physical fitness, these sessions can improve mood, cognition and increase self esteem for those we support with young onset #dementia💪
