Today, I voted for the Assisted Dying Bill. The Bill was narrowly defeated in the Commons. Although I am disappointed, it is also true that the Bill has shone a spotlight on how desperately we need to improve end-of-life care. It has been neglected for far too long. (1/6)

I'm pro assisted dying having watched a family member die. However, given the state can't regulate to save it's own life and consistently fails to consider 2nd order effects, it would be lunacy to hand it life and death decisions.
