I encourage using words like “whence” and “forthwith” in everyday life, not to sound pretentious but because language is fun and it adds a touch of surrealism and whimsy to the other person’s day. How dull life would be if everyone felt pressured to speak in the same basic way.
Just used the word ‘henceforth’ in a casual text to a friend. I support using more unusual words in daily texts about our happenstances. Spice things up, surprise me

yeah it's bad!!!!! but bad can be good if you just embrace it!!!!! literally the romance in this movie is SO randomly placed and forced and sandra and the dude have ZERO chemistry!!!!! but everything about the settings and characterization and wardrobe etc is still beautiful!!!!!
