Ps 2:1-12 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ” Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. Song: Rich Mullins - While the Nations Rage

Ps 105:7-15 He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,” When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it. When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people, He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” Song:Arise, Deliver Me - Paul Wilbur

@realmattcarr asked me a question and blocked me. To answer His question: How do you know Trump hasn't dedicated His life to God? Are you God? And leaders can ... and do speak for their nation. One must ask ... why are you so determined to deny it? Are you uncomfortable with the idea of One Nation Under God? What's your motive here? Because it sounds to me like you want the Democratic Socialists and Islam in power very badly. Like I said before, it's pretty cheeky to presume you know the state of another person's salvation. I mean, I'm sure you've been perfect Mr. Christian from the moment you made your decision, right?

Excellent take here. Beautiful.
She thought He was the gardener. John 20:15. She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Every sermon you've heard treats this as a mistake. Grief-blind woman, early morning, tears in her eyes, can't recognize the risen Lord standing three feet away. She wasn't wrong. She was early. Go back to where this happens, because John is the only gospel writer who tells you. John 19:41. Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. A garden. And where was He arrested? John 18:1. Over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered. Another garden. John bookends the whole thing. Betrayed in a garden. Buried in a garden. Risen in a garden. And John opens his gospel with the first three words of the Bible. In the beginning. He wants you to read his book next to Genesis. So go to Genesis. Genesis 2:15. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. The first man God ever made was given one job. Gardener. He lost it. Took the fruit, hid in the trees, heard God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and ran from Him. And God drove him out and put an angel with a burning sword at the gate. And the curse that came with it - Genesis 3:18: Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee. Thorns. The first fruit of the curse. Four thousand years later, soldiers twisted those same thorns into a crown and pressed it into the head of the Son of God. He wore the curse of the first garden to His death. Then they laid Him in a garden. And on the first day of the week, the first day, the day creation started, He stood up in it. Paul calls Him the last Adam. 1 Corinthians 15:45. The first Adam was a gardener who lost the garden. The last Adam walked out of a tomb into a garden at dawn, and the first person who saw Him took one look and said: that's the gardener. She got His job right before she got His name. Now watch what He says to her. Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? Whom seekest thou? Those are some of the most important words in John's gospel, and he uses them on purpose. The first words Jesus ever speaks in this book, in chapter 1, are a question to two men following Him: What seek ye? And in the garden on the night of the arrest, He walks up to the soldiers and asks them: Whom seek ye? They were seeking Him to kill Him. Now, in another garden, a woman is seeking Him to bury Him. And He asks the question again. Look at her answer. If thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. She's going to carry the body herself. One woman. A grown man's corpse wrapped in seventy-five pounds of spice. She doesn't care. She just wants to know where He is. This is Mary Magdalene. Luke tells us who she was before she met Him: out of whom went seven devils. A woman the town would have crossed the street to avoid. Seven demons, gone. And she followed Him the rest of the way. She was at the cross when the men had fled. She was at the burial. She was at the tomb before the sun came up. She was looking for a dead man. And He was standing behind her. Now the detail. John 20:14. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. She turns around. She sees Him. Doesn't know Him. Then. John 20:16. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni. She turned again. She was already facing Him. Why would she turn? Because after the gardener's question, she'd turned back to the tomb. Back to the hole in the rock. Back to the place where the dead are supposed to be. She was staring at the empty grave, crying, with the risen Christ standing behind her. And He didn't argue her out of it. He didn't explain the resurrection. He didn't show her the wounds. He said her name. That's all it took. One word. And she turned away from the tomb. John 10:3. He calleth his own sheep by name... and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. She knew the voice. Not the face. The voice that had said her name before, the day the seven demons left. The voice that had cleaned her out. The first garden ended with a man and a woman driven out through a gate, in shame, with thorns coming up behind them. This garden ends with a woman running out of it with the best news the world has ever heard. Go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father. The first witness of the resurrection. Not Peter. Not John. Not a priest. A woman who used to be possessed. In a culture where a woman's testimony carried little weight in court, God chose her mouth to carry the announcement. He always picks the one nobody would have picked. Now you. Some of you are standing in the garden right now. Facing the wrong direction. Staring at the place where something died. The marriage. The child you lost. The version of your faith you had when you were younger. The person you used to be before what happened happened. You keep going back to the tomb because that's where you last saw Him. And you can't find Him there. You're looking for a dead Jesus. He's alive. He's behind you. And He doesn't need you to understand the resurrection to find you. He knows your name. Not your file. Not your history. Not the seven things that used to live in you. Your name. Listen for it. Then turn around.

AJ nails it again!
WE ARE IN 2026. President Trump chose to confront the Iran problem NOW. But has anyone seriously asked what the alternative looked like? Suppose President Trump said: “Iran can wait. I'll concentrate on the border, economy, manufacturing and Making America Great Again at home.” Then Iran eventually acquires a nuclear weapon. What happens next? Saudi Arabia has already publicly said that if Iran develops a nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia would have to follow suit. That is precisely why proliferation concerns surrounding the region are so serious.. Now you're potentially looking at: Iran → nuclear armed. Saudi Arabia → pursuing its own deterrent. Other regional powers → reassessing theirs. Israel → facing an entirely different security calculation. Middle East → nuclear arms race risk. Hormuz → still sitting at the center of global energy security. And America hasn't eliminated the problem. It has made the problem MUCH harder to solve. Now fast-forward toward 2028. President Trump's successor could be campaigning for the White House while confronting a nuclear Iran, proliferation pressure across the Gulf, energy-market instability and the possibility that military action now carries dramatically greater escalation risks. And think about the POLITICAL environment. You're watching what happens during MIDTERMS, when the White House isn't even changing hands. Now imagine the political warfare, media pressure, demonstrations, congressional battles and foreign attempts to influence events when the WHITE HOUSE itself is on the line in 2028. That's why I keep looking beyond TODAY. President Trump's stated policy since 2025 has been to deny Iran a nuclear weapon, and his administration describes preventing a nuclear-armed Iran as a central objective of its current campaign. You can debate whether confronting Iran now was the correct strategy. And today many are screaming that Israel dragged President Trump into the conflict with Iran. Now imagine the calculation on Israel's part when Iran acquires nuclear weapons. But you also have to confront the alternative: What would America be dealing with if everybody simply kicked this problem down the road until 2028? Sometimes the easier decision TODAY creates the far more dangerous decision TOMORROW.

Is 53:1-12 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

Those calling Michael Tait repentant, and defending the pastor who posed with him, should listen to Tait’s victims. Absolution offered in ignorance is not mercy or grace. It is a refusal to hear the people who were harmed. Do not pronounce on what you do not know.

THE IRAN CRISIS DIDN'T START IN 2026. Imagine buying a house in 1979 and discovering a serious crack in the foundation. Every few years another owner moves in. - One patches it. - Another paints over it. - Another negotiates with the contractor. - Another reinforces part of the wall. - Another decides the repair is too expensive or politically difficult. Meanwhile, the family keeps living in the house. 47 YEARS PASS. Then one day the foundation finally gives way. Now everybody screams at the guy holding the keys: “LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO THE HOUSE!” That's roughly how Americans should think about Iran. The Islamic Republic emerged in 1979. Americans were held hostage for 444 days. Since then came sanctions, terrorism disputes, proxy wars, nuclear negotiations, military confrontations and repeated attempts by different administrations to contain the problem. President Trump didn't inherit an Iran problem that began in 2026. He inherited decades of unresolved history. And yes - the current conflict is hurting Americans. Disruption around the Strait of Hormuz has pushed global oil and U.S. gasoline prices higher even though America itself produces enormous quantities of oil. But here's the uncomfortable question: Did Americans seriously believe Iran, its nuclear ambitions, its regional power and one of the world's most important energy chokepoints could remain unresolved forever - and that NO future President would eventually have to confront the accumulated problem? You can debate how President Trump handled it. You can debate whether different decisions could have produced a "better" outcome. But don't confuse the President holding the keys when the foundation cracked with the decades of history that created the problem in the first place.
