Ukraine will face the consequences of its defeat alone. It was an EU/UK stalking-horse to defeat and dismember Russia all along, which is undebateable. Once the war is over, pending the final collapse of Ukraine as a state, the EU will offer its sympathy to a destroyed Ukraine. Nothing more. No EU membership and no NATO membership (already announced by Brussels). EU and UK economies are bankrupt wrecks. The only thing Russia will offer Ukraine is a war crimes tribunal when the Ukrainian state fully crumbles. Surrendering to Russian conditions is the only legitimate opportunity for Ukraine to develop into a free and prosperous State, eventually.

In Trumps mind if he says Russia should pay then that means we (THE US) should be paying Iran for bombing them. So Trump will never side with Ukraine for many reasons, he is just a POS.
