Has anyone booked a solo trip near a beach for the sole purpose of just crying and reflecting on life for a week? Seriously considering this 😅

Underrated life advice: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed relationships. Rushed conversations. Rushed timelines. There's power in rejecting that trend. Pause. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.
The older I get, the more I realize that life has seasons. And not every season needs to be your best one. Some seasons are for building. Some are for healing. Some are for just surviving. You don’t have to win every single chapter for the whole story to turn out well.
You ever watch somebody's entire personality come alive when they're finally around people who don't make them feel stupid for being excited about something?
That's beautiful to me.
I’m convinced adaptability is the highest form of intelligence. Knowledge matters, but the ability to unlearn and change course is rare. The most impressive people I know change their minds often in response to new information. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.

Do not marry the "I'm sorry to hear that" and "that's crazy" men. Marry the "where are you, I will come get you, I got you, let's fix it, I'm on my way, how much, let me make a call, it's handled, how can I show up for you best" men.
Nobody tells you this: You can wake up and decide that's enough. Enough of the low standards. Enough of the bad habit. Enough of the outdated identity. Enough of whatever. You don't need some dramatic reason, either. It's perfectly reasonable to wake up one day, say "this no longer works for me," and make a change. You can reinvent yourself. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as you need to create the life you want.
your relationship with yourself cannot be built entirely around improvement. at some point, you have to become someone you are allowed to enjoy being. you get to be proud of who you are. present tense
