Zeb Hatfield and Eric Weather’s Battle Brick Road is a celebration of the art of storytelling in every way. It is perfectly paced, beautifully drawn, and has something beautiful to say about the love between a father and daughter. I cannot recommend this book enough!!

Thanks for the friendly review! We love hearing what readers have to say about this apocalyptic foray back to Oz.
Quick Review: #BattleBrickRoad Vol. 01 is a great re-telling of the #WizardOfOz story with new elements of war, wasteland, robots, relatable family drama, and even the scary ol' flying monkeys and the #yellowbrickroad.
I love to read a story that I can imagine as a TV series or Movie and THIS IS that kind of story. I would love to see this on the big screen some day, and I think many will find it refreshing.
Thea (or "Dorothy") and Toto were great to follow. I immediately knew the type of character Thea was going to be after seeing this interaction with her and that flying monkey; you knew the rest of the action sequences are gonna be great! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the team in the next #BattleBrickRoad2 #BBR2.
Memorable scene: ... "KALIDAH!" 😀🤙
Great work @eric_weathers and @ZMHatfield!
