I found out that a Bulgarian site is copying lots of lyrics from my website Pesna.org without providing attribution, although the terms of use on my website clearly state that we ask for a link back to our site, a collection on which I work for over 20 years.

I published the latest version of my website, which is a collection of Macedonian folk songs, audio, lyrics and translations — Pesna.org. It follows the same navigation structure as before, with small improvements sprinkled around. I hope that you'll like it. 🥰

Јас на пример би снимила филм за Радио Скопје. За првите записи на македонската изворна мизика, со пејачи, песни, со љубовна и домољубна содржина

In the future, when the robots take over the world, will there be CAPTCHA challenges "Prove that you are a robot"? 🤔

For millennia, humanity has harnessed tools to extend its reach and amplify its power. AI is simply the latest in this lineage—yet unlike the stone axe or the steam engine, it may well be the final tool we ever need, reshaping not only how we work but what it means to be human.

Writing unit and feature tests is essential yet often neglected; with AI, creating them is easy, leaving no excuse to skip this vital practice which gives your team the confidence and peace of mind that come with deploying new features safely and reliably.

JavaScript, JavaSlipt 😉 Laravel offers great level of interactivity without reloading by sprinkling a few dashes of Livewire here and there. Write 99.9% of your code, front & back end, in one programming language. Isn't that what JavaScript promised? Well, I prefer Laravel!

I was always curious as a kid. I started programming when I was 12 years old, right after I figured out that the computer programs are perfect critics of one's mental abilities: either it is well-written and works, or it isn't and doesn't. I wanted to know how smart I am. 😉

Hey @rectorphp, I asked ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, Duck.ai and DeepSeek the same question: "how high can I set the levels", but they all returned different answers, ranging from 8 to 71. 🤣 Is this question answered somewhere?

This is a bit like a "Yes, but" meme-like situation. On the left, the default rector config after installation. On the right, the same config after it has been corrected when rector was run. 😉

Did I miss the memo that Pest now runs 2x or 3x faster? I look with amazement at these < 200ms tests! I am using Pest v4.1.2, released 2 weeks ago. @enunomaduro are you to "blame" for this? 🫡

I found myself often typing this set of commands over and over again, so I added them as a separate script named "go" in composer.json. #laravel #php #composer

If you are using Laravel, the URL manipulation can be done with Illuminate\Support\Uri. See the comparison of the commands:
PHP tip. Function `parse_url()` will return you the parts of the URL, like domain name, if you provide PHP_URL_HOST. Docs: php.net/manual/en/function.p…
