The Season X video is...still not done yet. But I just finished the v10.20 section and am about at the halfway mark. I'm gonna pin this here till the video is finished and I'll post updates occasionally so you guys can stay in the loop and see where the progress is at.

Fun Fact To accompany Fortnite's Borderlands collab in 2019, Epic spent $115,000,000 to make BL3 a 6-month timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store. This is because Tim Sweeney is a fucking idiot and would rather burn millions of dollars instead of improving his dogshit platform

Even 7 years later, things never change. Why improve your own store and launcher when you can bitch about Steam being a monopoly and suck off AI on Twitter all day while acting like AI users are some sort of oppressed minority.

v10.30 Update section done. Looking back its really funny how much the community despised Greasy and Moisty. They were lowkey just trolling with the rift zone gimmicks this update.

>Story is a major focus with collabs only acting as a side piece >A large variety of collabs so it doesn't feel forced >Collabs actually match the season's theme I normally HATE collab seasons, but if they continue handling them like this season, I wouldn't really mind.

It was cool having a bunch of characters return in Chapter 7, but I hope with Chapter 8 we start getting new characters and factions again. Looking back, there were barely any storyline characters added in the past year.

Btw, I'm moreso talking about the major characters like Order, Ice King, Hope, Geno, etc. The story this chapter was great, but it would be nice to have a healthy mix of both new and old characters next chapter rather than just an almost entire cast of returning characters.

Fun Fact Dusty Depot was originally planned to be a Rift Zone during Season X as an outline was seen on a promotional image of the map at the start of the season. This could also imply that there might've been plans to add in an additional gimmick to match the other Rift Zones.

As long as Sweeney is at Epic, the potential of the company and Fortnite itself will always be hindered by him. Tim is an unpredictable liability for the company. Anytime they begin to reach a high he immediately brings about a low. He needs to RESIGN.
Because of Tim Sweeney: - The Fortnite Metaverse was rushed and resources were stripped from the storyline & events - Donald Mustard retired from Epic Games - 1,000+ Epic Employees were laid off in September 2023 - Fortnite's story suffered greatly from the lack of resources - Billions of dollars were spent fighting Apple & Google and Tim joked about it causing financial problems in the future - UEFN creators were, for no good reason, paid almost $800 million dollars in the past year - On March 19th, V-Bucks prices were increased and the amount we received was reduced - 1,000+ more Epic Employees were just laid off today Every time we even reach a potential high for this game & things look good for everyone, Tim Sweeney manages to bring it all down. He is the ROOT of all the problems with Fortnite & Epic Games in recent years. ALL OF THIS happened because he thought Fortnite can be just like Roblox and it took him FOUR YEARS to realize that it can't be. And only after he had done SO MUCH damage to both this game & the company. I genuinely cannot believe how someone can be so stupid. Again, I am so heartbroken for all the employees who were laid off today. Not a single one of them deserved this. They put so much love & care into this game only to then be laid off. I truly wish them the best moving forward. Try and support them as much as possible, along with the employees who weren't laid off either. It's taking a toll on all of them.

Fun Fact The gas station area that returned with Moisty Palms breaks continuity as it was placed outside of the rift bubble.

how awesome is it that tim sweeney constantly complains and whines about the 70/30 cut on steam, deflects when people bring up the valid reasons for that cut, and then goes back and uses a product thats a result of that cut. valve doesnt just throw that 30% they take from sales into random bs like tims doing with shifting epic into a full vibecoded future; valve reinvest that money into new projects that will directly benefit its users. protons entire existence comes from valve seeing a big want for linux gaming so they spend that 30% they take from sales to invest in research in programming to make it better. all while tim sweeney sits in his office and whines on twitter all day about "but muh company takes less from devs so you should buy on our platform instead" meanwhile they have to resort to vibe coding to make the epic games launcher "better"
BOLD FOR THEM TO SHIT ON VALVE/STEAM, AND THEN LITERALLY USE PROTON INTERNALLY FOR WINDOWS COMPAT ON LINUX... this launcher is so fucking vibeslopped its funny, but holy crap, these people are hilarious.

"The layoffs aren't related to AI." Proceeds to replace ENTIRE development process of a game with AI 6 months later.
Epic Games has internally delayed the release of a shooter game they’ve been developing featuring Star Wars & Marvel characters. • Developers on the game have now been told to only use AI to write the code — “No more hand-written code” • All art for the game would be “generated with full AI workflows” (Source: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…)

These loot hacks have to be a reference to the Candy Corn LMG, right? Kinda surprised they haven't turned it into an exotic in BR yet. This would've been the perfect time to add it in too.

Slightly Fun Fact If it wasn't obvious enough that the Loot Lake island that returned in Season X is from an alternate timeline, the house's wooden paneling texture was changed to be less worn down and have a more vibrant yellow. Almost as if its taken from farther in the past.

I thought for sure they were gonna fumble Kado Thorne again by putting him in the Elites, but this is actually such a cool way to reintroduce him. If you're stealing a bunch of stuff from alternate timelines, theoretically, your only competition is yourself doing the same thing.
Kado Thorne has made his return. Through his NPC dialogue, it is revealed that: -The Time Machine was destroyed during the Big Bang. -He is hunting down all versions of himself created by his multiple time travels, in an attempt to kill them all and be the only one. #Fortnite

I've always despised this mode purely for the fact that the only impact it had was forcing Rocket League cosmetics into BR, so now we're stuck with the stupid ass Whiplash and SUV in every season for the rest of eternity.
ROCKET RACING IS OFFICIALLY LEAVING FORTNITE TOMORROW 2023 - 2026 🪦
