So you have this woman in charge of the American Psychological Association, Rouse over at the American Anthropological Association, etc. It’s just not tenable to claim this stuff is minor or a right wing fever dream when these people keep getting put in charge of major orgs.

I'm visiting Japan encountering these Toto toilets with more buttons than airliners. I'm afraid pressing any because I might get electrocuted or launch nuclear missiles or something. So I just took a photo and pasted into ChatGPT to translate.

Paglia's point is that women have been raised in a way that makes them naïve. They believe that the suburban, middle-class setting is the default condition of the world, and that the rights they have go with them anywhere, even to a foreign country or a bedroom during a drunken party. And this is the part I think about a lot... Written history is only about 2% of all human history. And this post-1945, "rules-based order" we're living in is only about 2% of written history. And written history comprises things like mountains of skulls, banners made from the skins of enemies, torture as part of the legal system, defiled corpses, and cities given to soldiers for three days of rape and plunder with no rules. The World Wars industrialized it. None of the progress of the 200 years of "enlightenment" prevented it, either. Keep in mind that Germany and Japan signed the Hague Conventions in 1899 and 1907. Paper rules burn easily. That's what makes the "oh, we've evolved past all of this" argument a load of nonsense. This postwar order, this illusory anomaly we've lived in for 80 years, was built by people who were scarred by two World Wars in 33 years. Orders are never permanent. Every previous order fell, and this one will too, except we'll have drones and AI to make even bigger mountains of skulls next time. And this is where Paglia's statements become more important because in a real breakdown, the people with weapons and the will to use them will control the food, fuel, and shelter first. You know who does that the most? Men. The tech level doesn't matter, either. It never has. From melee weapons, through missile weapons, to firearms, to drones, conflict has been the province of men. Testosterone and its resulting aggression reign supreme. They end up dominating everyone who doesn't have resources, and eventually you get stability. Do you know what's downstream from that? Patriarchy. That's the irony facing the women that Paglia's discussing here: what they despise the most is the only thing that will save them when this order is gone someday. If you don't believe me, then look at how many patriarchal societies still exist in the world today, or read about the sack of Berlin in 1945. Paglia is right: women should be treated as adults. And that includes women understanding what their rights are protected by.

As Christa Pike, a woman who tortured a girl to death and took a piece of her victim’s skull as a trophy, receives life saving medical treatment following a botched execution, keep something in mind: many states in this country will not give medical treatment to a baby who survives abortion. In fact several states have specifically repealed laws requiring treatment for infants born alive after an abortion. And every single mainstream Democrat in the country opposes any law to protect infants who survive abortions. So this condemned murderer, who earned her execution through her own choices, is getting more humane treatment than infant children who were given a death sentence through no fault of their own. And every Democrat — every single one, no exceptions — empathizes far more with this murderer than with those babies.

What’s URCHN?” “URCHN is the latest in affordable concierge shopping.” “Oh, you mean like Uber or Instacart. What makes them different?” “Orphans.” “𝑂𝑟𝑝ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑠?” “That’s right, Bill. And not just any orphans. Dirty, starving orphans who live under overpasses.” “Uh.” “As you know, the cameras in the grocery aisle scan your face and adjust the price based on race, socioeconomic status, and dietary restrictions. But you know who always gets the best prices, no matter what?” “…orphans?” “Yep.” “I don’t know, Paul, that seems a little-” “Of course, the AI still discriminates based on race, which is why they send a multi-racial team of no less than four dirty orphans to buy your groceries.” “Um.” “The Latino child buys your wasabi, and the Asian child buys your tortillas.” “Yeah, no, I get it.” “And the black child-” “Sorry, uh, these are children, right? Small children?” “Of course. Teens would raise the price.” “How do they, uh, reach the items on the top shelves?” “They stand on each other’s emaciated little shoulders.” “Jesus.” “Yeah, the Latino orphan tends to be on the bottom.” “What?” “Sturdy stock.” “…and how much do you save?” “My last potato was 34 cents.” “#$&@ it, I’m in.” ---- [r][AI Surge Pricing]

This is an interesting thread, because he makes the motte and bailey explicit in a way they're not usually careless enough to do. No one denies that the residential schools were rough, that the kids who went there were probably kind of sad, and that some of them died, due to contagious disease mostly. That's all very unfortunate but doesn't amount to much more than "kids get homesick at boarding school, discipline back then was often severe by modern standards, and medicine was primitive especially in remote areas." This is the motte and it isn't all that impactful because none of it is all that different from conditions that white kids lived through at the time, particularly in remote areas. But it was very specifically the claim of mass graves due to deliberate genocide that supercharged this issue back in 2021, with the implication that the residential schools were actually a cover for a policy of systematic extermination. At least I assume this is the charge, as they keep saying "genocide" and that's what genocide is commonly understood to mean. This is the bailey. The problem is that there is no evidence for mass graves. The few times that they've been investigated no bodies were found. At the Kamloops site they deliberately refuse to even dig, which strikes people as suspicious. So people ask questions. It's only natural to want something more concrete than "because I said so" when you're being accused of genocide. So they then retreat to the motte of "well things were hard in the schools", and okay, yes, they were, but that isn't genocide. But the implication is that anyone asking for evidence in support of the genocide claim - anyone attacking the bailey - is engaging in "denialism" that the schools even existed or that conditions in the schools were often not ideal. Which literally no one does. This entire debate comes down to one question. Is the Canadian government guilty of a deliberate, systematic policy of genocide? Did it set out to exterminate the First Nations via the mass murder of their children? That's it, that's the issue, that's what we're fighting about. And there's a very high bar of evidence for proving something like that. At a minimum, you need a whole lot of bones. Got any bones out in that bailey?
There is an extreme level of cognitive dissonance in Residential School denialism. Across Canada, not just at Tk'emlups, people were harmed and permanently changed by residential schools and yes people even died, it's been known for generations.

Every bone matters – and no bones found matters more. In May 2021, the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc band, about 1,400 people, announced it had found the remains of 215 children at the Kamloops residential school. Within days the world was told of mass graves and murdered children. Prime Minister Trudeau led the national shaming. Flags on federal buildings flew at half-mast for 161 days. Ottawa then handed the band $12.1 million for exhumation, forensic testing and DNA analysis. Five years later: no excavation. Not one body recovered. Not one bone. They took the money and refused to dig. Instead, the money went to 'consultants', 'administration' and of course 'publicists'. And the chief has now told a Senate committee: "The truth cannot be confirmed." That is money taken under false pretences. A fraud on every Canadian taxpayer. Contrary to Nick Walsh's article, masks worn by the Second Sons at Kamloops aren't criminal intimidation. If masks at that time and place are a crime, then they are at every Palestine march, every Khalistan rally, and on every police officer who hides his face and removes his name tag. Equal law or no law. Asking for evidence isn't intimidation – and it must never be a crime. So our friend @BC_Citcon (who we often agree with on many issues) wants Canadians detained, unmasked and ID'd by the RCMP – his words – for challenging a false claim that has no evidence behind it, one the band itself admits it cannot confirm, and refuses to test. Nick Walsh doesn't seem to view the wholesale shaming of legacy Canadians, and the teaching of our children to be ashamed, on a false accusation of mass murder and a mass grave, as an issue at all. And then there's the photo. Nick illustrated his article with a fake AI photo: masked men in matching jackets, lined up in front of the old residential school. It looks real. It isn't identified as AI. Compare it with the real photos and video: wrong logos, wrong flags, wrong uniforms. The scene never happened. I can find no copy of that fake image anywhere before Nick published it. The obvious conclusion is that he made it himself. Look at his own timeline on September 27, all times ET: 8:11 PM – Nick shares a REAL photo of the men and demands the RCMP "detain every single one of them," unmask them and ID them. 9:20 PM – Nick publishes his article below, 11 hours after the event, claiming he'd seen "no banner, leaflet, speech or stated demand" and illustrating it with his fake AI photo. 9:24 PM – Four minutes later, Nick shares the photo of the men on the overpass behind their banner: "GOT BONES?" He had the real photos more than an hour before he published. He used a fake one instead. He told readers there was no banner, then posted the banner himself four minutes later. A man who fakes a photo and hides a banner to get Canadians arrested for asking questions has no business lecturing anyone about evidence. Nick – where did your AI fake photo come from?

Earlier this year, the Globe & Mail editorial board (finally) admitted that those 215 unmarked graves in Kamloops don’t exist. The CBC admitted the same thing in 2025. The National Post in 2022. Which of those journalists do you plan on sending to jail? All of them?
After witnessing the horrific intimidation and white nationalist rhetoric surrounding residential school denialism in B.C., I firmly support Canada treating residential school denialism as a form of hate propaganda.
Community note
No human remains have been found at Kamloops. After 5 years and ~$12M in funding given to First Nations to find bodies, the site was never excavated. Globe & Mail admitted the 215 graves claim was unproven and media failed to scrutinize what may be nothing more than grift. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/editor… cbc.ca/news/politics/…

Men are not choosing social isolation, they’re being ostracized from society. • During Trump’s term around 90% of new jobs went to women. • Women are gaining jobs at around 5x the rate of men. • Since Covid, nearly 80% of net new employment has gone to someone born outside of the country. • Unmarried young men (20-39) now outnumber married men by nearly 2 to 1. • In 2025 there were 30.4 million single men ages 18 to 39 compared to 20.7 million in 2000. Men are being excluded from the most critical aspects of life. They’re not being hired and promoted, women have chosen promiscuity over families, male only spaces are forbidden, and men who speak out are silenced for it.
This is silly. I *work on this issue* and have sort of dedicated my career to it. It’s not that any man or group of men is intrinsically bad. It’s that social isolation is a major problem with clearly bad outcomes, and men keep choosing it.

I just watched that testimony from Brad Seiler at Senator Johnson’s roundtable. I have heard so many of these stories. This one still lands like a blow to the chest. A conscious, coherent woman sitting in an ICU bed, telling her husband she wants to go home, and the hospital’s response is to call the police and turn a discharge into a six-hour standoff. She looks at the sergeant and asks the only question that matters: “Am I a patient, or am I a prisoner?” That is not a rhetorical flourish. That is the precise description of what American hospitals became in 2020 and 2021. Let me speak as a physician who has actually stood in those rooms. When a hospital tells a family “she will be dead in 24 hours” and then stops treating her, they have abandoned the practice of medicine. They have substituted a protocol for a patient. Isolation, denial of nutrition, secret DNR orders against the family’s wishes, refusal of the very therapies the patient requested in the ER — this is not “standard of care.” It is the systematic withdrawal of care dressed up as science. A nurse casually predicting death as they wheel her out is not dark humor. It is the culture that formed when doctors were no longer allowed to be doctors. I have said this since the summer of 2020: COVID was treatable. Early, individualized treatment worked. Nobody needed to be starved, isolated, and declared terminal because they were unvaccinated or because they asked for something other than remdesivir and a ventilator. The moment the hospital learned her vaccination status, the entire tone changed. That is not medicine. That is ideology wearing a white coat. Brad Seiler did what every husband and every physician is supposed to do: he refused to abandon her. He walked into the ICU, stood his ground for six hours, and took his wife home. She lived. That single fact indicts the entire system more thoroughly than any study. The hospital issued a death sentence. Her husband issued a rescue. Hospitals exist to treat patients, not to process them according to a federal playbook while families are locked outside. When administrators call law enforcement on a man trying to take his conscious wife home, the institution has ceased to be a hospital. It has become a detention facility with better lighting. This testimony is not an isolated tragedy. It is a pattern. We documented it in real time. We were called dangerous for saying it. History is now catching up. Gail Seiler is alive because one man remembered that medicine is a covenant, not a protocol. Every physician who stayed silent while this happened should watch this video and then look in the mirror.
The stories being told at Sen. Ron Johnson’s roundtable on the evils Americans faced in hospitals during COVID will make your blood boil. Listen to this man break down as he described what they did to his wife. The hospital gave her a death sentence saying she would be dead in 24 hours and stopped trying to treat her. They wouldn't let his family see his wife and their mother. "I entered the ICU to bring my wife home. Gail was conscious, mentally coherent, repeatedly stated that she wanted to leave with me. Hospital administrators called law enforcement, and what should have been a discharge became an approximately six-hour standoff." "I wouldn't abandon her. At one point, Gail asked the police sergeant who went into the room, Am l a patient, or am l a prisoner?" "As we left a nurse told me, mark my words she'll be dead tonight" He brought her home. She recovered. She is alive today, because he brought her out of that hospital. This a horrific testimony. Hospitals are supposed to treat patients. Instead they were running a clinic of death. Absolutely heartbreaking....
