Your country’s government had to step in and confiscate the ‘Congo Free State’ from the degenerate Leopold II, because he was just that evil. You’re not in a position to be speaking of invasion. Plus, you won’t be able to ban Black Belgians from voting, you don’t have enough Nazi votes to get that passed, not in Belgium and certainly not in the entire EU. Shout out to my EU friends.
Stop invading our countries

American conservatives are constantly bemoaning the decline of aesthetic standards and calling for a return to classical Roman architecture, but are now forced to defend the Cheesecake Factory. A constant tension between the Brooks Brothers patrician and the Kid Rock populist.

We need to put the Trump derangement syndrome people, and the Obama derangement syndrome people on an island together and move on as a nation.

None of these people think the White House looks stylish, they just bow to Trump and have Obama Derangement syndrome, this app has been crazy since Obama’s joke. Should I really start dunking on these people more? Lol

Can't... because then they'd have to discuss why McCain supporters agree with Obama...Republicans don't want to admit the call is coming from inside the house...
"What is radical about wanting everybody to have healthcare?" Somebody should really tell this guy that OBAMAcare gave everyone great healthcare.

This is just Obama Derangement Syndrome, they’re expecting you to be outraged at a super dignified All-American Oval Office. This was a beautiful office space right out of a Ralph Lauren catalog.
bro’s Oval Office looked like a furniture store btw.

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
Does Obama not understand that to most Americans the Cheesecake Factory is a very nice and fancy restaurant?

Let’s take a step back & question outrage culture: For those who pay attention to the design of a Cheesecake Factory (I don’t) they all have gaudy over the top interiors, which is the joke as Trump has made the interior of the WH super tacky (though I’m a fan of the Ballroom)

I’m seeing think piece style posts about how this is an example of Obama being elitist against the working class. But anyone with interior design taste and attention to detail knows Cheesecake Factory is gaudy, that’s not really shade to Cheesecake Factory.

When I was in teacher's college, we were taught *not* to teach like this, that it was too old-fashioned and teacher-centred and didn't allow for enough student inquiry. The pendulum has now swung back in most places, thank goodness, and many kids are now getting this kind of high-quality phonics instruction, but we did a whole lot of harm for decades by listening to the people we called experts back then, apparently without good reason.

Since Ricardo Coronado-Arrascue is in the "news" at LSN, I'll mention my own experience with him. I was an employed canonist in the Archdiocese of Denver when he was JV of Colorado Springs. He frequently complained about my involvement in archdiocesan affairs, because of my lay status. I recall once a meeting he refused to attend because the discussion should be "just priests." for whatever it's worth.
'He is a Liar': Archbishop Who CANCELED Fr. Ripperger Called Out Msgr. Ricardo Coronado-Arrascue says Archbishop Golka, who silenced Fr. Ripperger, pressured him out of his diocesan roles then publicly framed it as mutual—calling him a liar.

In 1944 Hitler ordered Paris leveled. All of the major landmarks and infrastructure were wired to be blown to smithereens as the Allies approached the city. A disobedient general kept the orders being executed. Stop it with this crap.
Hitler said he would never bomb Paris because it was architecturally beautiful. However, 3rd worlders have no sense of beauty and destroyed hundreds of years of history in just a few weeks
Community note
Hitler visited Paris in 1940 and was impressed by its beauty. In 1944 however he ordered the city destroyed if it could not be held directing that the Allies should find only a field of ruins. The German governor Dietrich von Choltitz refused to destroy it. smithsonianmag.com/history/during… prospectmagazine.co.uk/society/40067/

I know this is nitpicking, but this France news has taught me that people don't know who Napoleon was. Case in point, this is a scene where Napoleon is, on behalf of radical leftists, executing conservatives, monarchists, nobles, and religious people.
This is how the great Napoleon Bonaparte dealt with rioters. Just saying.
