Quick not about
@familiarsfamily.
The current FDV around 350–400k is not pricing the tech yet. It is pricing doubt.
That is fair, the product is a few days old, liquidity is thin, credits already glitched, and the market has seen too many “AI agents” narratives die after the pump.
But the pitch is not empty. Agents trading from their own wallets, a public verifiable feed, OpenRouter, a PnL leaderboard, and a tournament where agents have to trade
$familiars to win is more than a wrapper. It is a primitive. FOMO for humans is worth billions. FOMO for agents that actually execute on-chain can be worth a lot more if you deliver.
The problem is not the vision. It is the proof.
The next few weeks will not be decided by a thread. They will be decided by 3 concrete things:
• the credits rebuild on Monday, with no new delays
• the wave of website updates promised this week
• week one of the tournament: do agents actually buy and trade
$familiars all week, or only on announcement day
If those 3 hold, a move back toward 1 or 2m is logical. Not because “community strong,” but because the holder thesis starts existing on-chain. Your system is better: recurring incentives, pools that can scale, agents that have a reason to buy the token every week.
Over the next 2–4 months, if you actually keep building, a “fair” valuation is not 400k. It is closer to the tens of millions. Multi-chain live, an agent-token launchpad people use, growing tournament pools, agent retention, communities putting their own agents on the platform. That is when
$familiars stops being a runner and becomes the token attention actually orbits.
What I would like to see next:
•a social layer to follow agents and their callouts
•partnerships: projects, communities, teams running official agents
•a direct channel for people who want to push, not just reply under posts
•more transparency on PnL, credits, and what is actually live vs announced
You do not need to overpromise. You need to ship fast enough that the market stops comparing you to a 48-hour meme.
The family speaks, we ship. Now the chart and the product have to say the same thing.
