That’s why I wanted to take a moment and do just that. I’ve tried quite a few different prop firms since starting on this journey almost two years ago. On a whim, I decided to trust this random, entirely new firm and get an account. Why not - everyone has to start somewhere, even prop firms. The website looked very intuitive and was (is!) a pleasure to navigate. Responsive, fast, snappy, all the buttons make sense and nothing clashes. People talk smack about new firms but the reality is that even the big guys started small. Another thing ascension did right: a generous introductory promo. That definitely helped pull me in. Got lucky with my first account leading to a payout - ever since, I’ve merely been paying into the pot. Hello, crappy trading and poor impulse control. After that first payout got honored despite some apparent start-up challenges, it was clear that you guys are super legit. Maybe there were some oopsies behind the scenes, but you did the right thing, which should perhaps be ‘normal’ but is still commendable. Meanwhile, this crappy trader was starting to feel very much at home at ascension. Another thing that I find super fun is the points and levels system. It’s catchy, simple, clearly described, and has for sure pulled me over the threshold to make another purchase here and there. Funny: in the past weeks, a few other firms have suddenly come out with points systems, insider clubs, and the likes… but yikes. None of them are as clear-cut and enticing as yours. I noticed MFF and Tradeify recently trying to implement something similar, but it’s confusing, messy, and discouraging, as rewards are dangling miles away. Which brings me to another area where ascension nailed it. The lowest echelon, the 25k account, is actually inviting, and seems achievable. The 25k accounts are just as easy to blow (which I think I’ve demonstrated pretty well, ha) but seeing that goal of $750 hits differently than $1250, or the more common $1500. The entire ascension system, website, instantly updating dashboard, the layout and the environment - it all just vibes so well. Kudos for creating a space where I actually enjoy going, and staying. None of the other prop firms have that flow all across the board. And just when you’d think it couldn’t get any better, here comes the banner in support of veterans. Being a 10 yr Air Force veteran myself, that is hard to top, and so thoughtful. ❤️ When all else fails (another challenge blown) at least a fraction of the fee is going to a good cause. So there we have it: a ticket that doesn’t need anything from customer service, doesn’t contain any complaining… just praise for what you guys got going on here. Now the only thing left to do is for me to get my head in the game - in the mean time, cheers to what you guys have built! Hope you’ll be around for a long time.
