The guy was the most talent engineer at the time (and likely a shark tamer which is also a RARE trait in the clan) imagine if he was able to further develop his technology and how that could’ve helped Splatsville in the long run 😭 a very unfortunate situation overall

On a brighter note in the end he WAS able to pass down his knowledge bc Deep Cut and the mechanic found his notes(he even helped out someone from his clan!) The bot is used to get relics which is how Deep Cut paid Splatsville debt so technically, he also helped his hometown too
