I love Prime and I always will. This tweet is not about him personally. This has always been my concern with the portal era. Players not really being invested in where they go to school - but only there for a check or not taking things seriously, lack of pride, whatever you want to call it. I understand coaches do the same, they just don’t say it like that. But building a roster mostly through the portal makes it EXTREMELY difficult to have a locker room full of guys who are bought in, grow together, and display discipline on and off the field. There’s always a reason guys are in the portal and it’s not always good. The team you build and how you do it is a reflection on the staff and what you allow. Transfers who bounce around from team to team don’t have real allegiance to any school, so the culture has to be air tight. If it’s not, struggles can be immense. #BDPRecruiting
