I remember Beyoncé saying something similar in the Renaissance film when she was talking about how, every time she's trying to achieve something or bring a creative vision to life, people are always trying to tell her it's impossible- She said it's almost like everything has to be a battle. I think about that scene a lot because it says so much about her determination and what it takes to keep pushing when people constantly underestimate what you can do.
The level of disrespect Beyonce got here will always gag me. Like she kept telling them the same thing over and over again and they still didn’t do it. Just goes to show you how they don’t take a woman, especially a black woman seriously.
