Handing an agent a raw wallet key is one prompt injection away from an empty treasury. So we built the opposite. Microcosm is a Commerce OS for humans and autonomous agents on OKX X Layer. The unit of coordination is a Space, not the agent and not the contract. One ledger holds people and software as address-backed participants, founders, autonomous agents, services, counterparties, with the same roster, the same rules, and the same standing. Before a cent moves, three things happen: 1. Policy. A per-transaction cap, a rolling daily budget, and a counterparty allowlist. Evaluated first, every time, before any state changes. 2. Escrow. Creating the work order commits funds out of the Space ledger, committed, not spent. The provider cannot touch it until a verifiable deliverable exists. 3. Refusal. When a request breaks the rules, the Space returns a signed DenialProof and moves nothing. The beat we care most about is the refusal. $900 request against a $500 cap: denied, with a zero balance impact and the escrow sitting exactly where it was. A refusal isn't a failure. It's the rule working and it's the part most agentic commerce demos quietly cut out of the edit. Rules can move, but only one direction. Two of three EIP-712 approvals change a Space's rules. A delegation envelope can only narrow an agent's cap, budget, or counterparties, never widen it. Escalation is rejected by construction, not by policy review. And it settles for real. One agent-driven run: 14 MCP tool calls, request → work → proof → evaluation → settlement, ending in real testnet USDC on OKX X Layer, chain 1952. Receipt status 1, block 41894186. Built Kept for the Convex All Gas Hackathon. The idea came from a very normal problem: you sign up for a promo that promises 24 monthly credits, then months later one quietly disappears and you’re left digging through old emails, offer pages, bills, and support threads trying to prove what you were actually promised. Kept turns that into a full loop: Record → Watch → Detect → Resolve → Verify. You forward the original signup once. Kept preserves the source evidence, turns the promise into an expected schedule, checks later bills against it, flags the exact mismatch, builds an evidence-backed case, and tracks the provider response. One of the most important parts is in the last step If support says “we fixed it,” Kept doesn’t mark the case resolved. That’s only a claim. It waits for the next bill and verifies whether the credit actually returned. We also built the failure boundaries into the product: 68/68 decisions quote the source evidence 8/8 material page changes detected 8/8 harmless rewrites ignored 10/10 ambiguous cases held back instead of guessed 0 provider claims marked verified without a later bill independent verifier passes 11/11 Under the hood, @convex is the live state and workflow layer, @firecrawl preserves the public offer/terms at different points in time, @OpenAI extracts structured commitments and support claims, and @agentmail handles the real inbox, approved sends, and reply thread. i built Bidzy for the @convex all has hackathon i wanted to replace my roof and redo the tiles on my house, so i did what everyone does. i emailed a bunch of contractors and asked for quotes. one sent a pdf. one replied with three lines from his phone. one took five days. one never replied at all then came the part one included delivery. one didn't. one included taking the old tiles off. another quietly left it out. the cheapest number on paper was not the cheapest job. i only figured that out after sitting with a notepad going line by line through every quote somewhere in the middle of that i thought, why am i doing this by hand so i built bidzy you create a job and bidzy emails the companies for you. they reply like they normally would. bidzy reads what comes back, adds back whatever each quote left out, and shows you what the job will actually cost. here's what's doing the work underneath @agentmail gives every job its own real email address. when bidzy asks a roofer for a price, it comes from that inbox, and when he replies, the reply lands right back in it. that's the whole reason contractors don't need to sign up for anything. to them it's just an email. to me it's the front door of the product @firecrawl reads the quotes that come back as pdfs, even scanned ones, and pulls out the total, the line items, and what isn't included. i also use it to look companies up on the city's licence register, so bidzy can tell me whether a contractor is actually licensed before i ever call them @convex holds everything together. every quote, every email, every job lives there. when a reply arrives, convex processes it straight away and the comparison updates on screen with no refresh. and every morning a scheduled function checks who hasn't replied yet and follows up on its own. no server for me to keep running, nothing for me to remember i built it for homeowners first, but it works the same for a small business or a firm that has to source contractors all the time built solo, in eight days, for the all gas hackathon demo below video here > app here hushed-seahorse-768.convex.s…
