PhD Candidate @Tufts | Social Psych | identity | intersectionality | discrimination | mental health | critical perspectives of psych | epistemic exclusion

I’m happy to announce that I am currently on the postdoc market! My research investigates 1) the biases that marginalize race scholarship, 2) the impact of racial discrimination on belonging and mental health outcomes, and 3) prototypicality biases through an intersectional lens.

The goal of my research program is to shed light on the complex dynamics of identity & discrimination for individuals possessing multiple stigmatized identities. Ultimately, I aim to use my findings to develop & implement effective resources to support minoritized communities.

I am so thankful to have mentors. I am glad I have people who genuine care for and support me. I was just in a frenzy finishing up my dissertation proposal and had a mentor encourage me and remind me of how capable I am. These are the moments in academia that are precious to me🫶🏽

The state of this country terrifies me. Trying to look for postdocs and not knowing where you will end up next year is scary. Today, states are eliminating conversations on race and this presidential election has surpassed being anxiety inducing.
