Happy Sunday, builders!! Anyone else feel like managing social media as a founder is basically a full-time job on top of everything else? That’s exactly why we’re building XreplyAI. An AI teammate for B2B founders who don’t have a social media team. It learns your business, helps decide what to post, writes content for platforms, and keeps your social presence moving without taking hours out of your day. Check this out! xreplyai.com

Shipped autopilot consent: one switch per generator, channel On/Off. Multi-workspace docs follow up. 🚀 How do you handle feature flags across multiple workspaces without breaking the main flow?

Just doubled our Stripe free trial from 7 to 14 days (#3055). Turns out 7 days isn't quite enough time to test multi-platform scheduling when life gets busy. More breathing room for new users to actually test the workflow. 💳

Solo devs with a live product: how do you pick the week's work? Fixed shipping cadence, top of the backlog, or whatever last broke? And where does the non-code stuff (support, writing, telling people what you shipped) land: scheduled, squeezed in, or dropped first?

Just shipped Instagram auto-DM settings. Added clear Meta rule breakdowns plus live tracking for sent-today and recent activity. No more guessing what triggers the algorithm. 📉

A code review caught a field of mine that lies. It shows what settings a generated post was created under. The code read the plan's current settings. Plans are editable. Edit them, and every older post changes its story.

Tests were green. Each one created the plan, created the post, and read the field right away. No edit in between, so a stored fact and a live lookup looked identical. I had fixed the same bug in the field next door that morning.

The fix: store what was chosen when it was chosen. If it was never stored, say "not recorded" instead of guessing. And write the test that edits the settings after the record exists, then asserts nothing moved.

Building something from scratch is basically: “This should be easy.” 2 hours later: “Why did I start this?”

Nothing makes you more productive on your main project than suddenly getting an idea for a completely different project 🫠

Your first users aren’t just customers. They’re the people helping you figure out what this thing can become. Treat their feedback like gold.

Marketing has been a lot more trial and error than I expected. I’ll spend more time writing a post that gets 3 likes. Then I’ll share a random thought while drinking my morning coffee and it somehow does better. Still figuring out what works.

Building in public gets uncomfortable when you realize people can see you trying. But that's also what makes it interesting. They don't just see the outcome. They see you become better at the thing.

What’s harder than building the product? Getting people to actually care about it. You can spend weeks making something better, then realize distribution is a whole second job. What’s harder for you right now: building or getting users?
