👉We are hiring a full time COPY ENGINEER.👈
What you get:
🔥 Competitive salary + profit sharing
🔥 36 hour work week (half-day Fridays)
🔥 Experience working with a cracked team of A players
The role 👇
This isn't a copywriter position. This is ideation + idea amplification + copy editing.
🔥 Ideation: You can hang and excel in the 3 hours of LIVE brainstorming we have each week. You bring ideas, bounce ideas, improve ideas. There can be a warm up period, but expect to bring the heat.
🔥 Idea amplification: We use an in-house brief writing tool. It's wicked smart, but great output requires great input. You will put spin, angle, and unique sauce on each idea, working with our system to create fire briefs.
🔥 Copy editing: You will work with the outputs until it's the best it can be. That could be adding, subtracting, or editing scenes and dialog.
This is NOT a junior role and this is NOT your first time writing UGC briefs. But if you think you have what it takes and want to know what it's like to work with the best team in the game.... send me a DM.🗨️
Let's talk.
"Copywriting" in DTC is a dead term.
A lingering product of the past.
I used to work with literal award winning copywriters who would take a week to perfect a line of copy.
That's not the game here. Never has been.
Any nostalgia for a golden age of wordsmiths should be left on the dusty bookshelf.
So who's pushing ad accounts forward in 2026?
Copy Engineers.
This isn't prompting. It's winning ad assembly from parts.
The parts:
- global learnings that cut across brands
- local learnings specific to the brand
- behavioral psychology principles
- persuasion mechanics
- marketing positions
- native language
Oh you can "write well"? That's almost a negative signal.
Any LLM can "write well" enough to make it in DTC. This isn't Shakespeare. It's convincing people mindlessly scrolling to part with their hard earned money.
A copywriter will sell you the playbook on that.
But my money is on the copy engineer with a schematic.
