I think everyone knows tbh healthcare cost is ridiculous in the US but that’s for many reasons outside the basic costs.

So got tax update today and details of where it’s going.
I’m not sure I’m ok with 20% if my income going towards the NHS and a further 20% going towards the welfare state?!
If we didn’t have the NHS would we really pay anywhere near 20% of our income towards Health Insurance?
