Amazing how efficient the British justice system can be when it wants to be. Daniel Thomas: alleged incident Tuesday. Arrested Wednesday. Charged Thursday. Court Friday. Bail refused. Manchester Airport brothers? Incident July 2024. It took 150 DAYS just to charge them and almost a YEAR to reach trial. One man was eventually convicted — but look at the speed difference. Nothing to see here though, apparently. You don’t have to believe the cases are identical to ask why justice can move at lightning speed one day and at a crawl the next. People need to start paying attention. Public trust isn’t demanded. It’s earned.

Everyone in rescue is devastated by the news of a terrible traffic accident yesterday, which stole the life of two wonderful volunteer ladies, and 9 of the 10 precious dogs they were transporting from Turkey 💔 The dogs were heading to their forever happy ending in France and to Claire from Homeward Bound, their rescuer who had been caring for them for years. These selfless ladies tragically lost their lives taking them to their safe place. We send all our love to their family and friends, and especially to Claire who has been robbed of so many of the beautiful dogs she dedicated her life to. Photos of the crash are circulating widely but out of respect for all involved, we chose a photo of their angel wings 🪽💔💔
