Take Care of Your Circle.
When things started working out for me and I began making good money, suddenly, a lot of friends and relatives appeared around me. I tried to share my experience, teach, help, and give people the opportunities that had once opened up for me.
But as soon as I lost everything, most of them simply disappeared. No one offered to help, no one asked how I was holding up. I was left with a completely different circle of people than the one that had been around when things were going well for me.
And do you know what lesson I learned from this?
Not everyone who is around you during your successful times deserves to be considered someone close to you. Sometimes, even those you least expect it from stay by your side only as long as it benefits them.
Don't rush to let people into your life, even if they are friends or relatives. Pay attention not to their words, but to their actions. Not to those who celebrate your success, but to those who don't turn their backs on you during your hardest moments.
Value those who have been by your side from the very beginning, who supported you through both your falls and your rises. Those who believed in you not because of your money, status, or opportunities, but simply because of who you are.
Because the people who truly belong in your life are not there for personal gain. And when you lose everything, they will be the ones to remind you that you are worth far more than what you have.
Protect your circle. Your true wealth is not determined by the number of people around you, but by their sincerity.
