New Cornell Case Wrinkle - Moonies Denies Serving Jane Doe and Reveals Later Work Connection The bar rejects Doe's account, describing the claim that its staff served her alcohol as “completely inaccurate”. Moonies also says Doe later worked for an affiliated organization and discussed what happened that October night, but did not say at the time that she had been intoxicated or that a Moonies bartender had served her alcohol. Jane Doe’s level of intoxication before arriving at Chi Phi has been a hotly debated point in this case, and now Moonies Bar is directly disputing part of the account in her civil complaint. The lawsuit alleges that Doe drank heavily at her sorority house before going out and that Moonies served her alcohol despite her marked hands identifying her as underage and her apparent intoxication. According to the bar, it hosted a private Tri Delta event on October 19, 2024, attended by approximately 185 people, including 35 who were under 21. Underage attendees had their hands marked, while those 21 and older received wristbands. Bartenders were instructed to serve only guests wearing those wristbands. That adds another disputed piece to an already complicated question: how intoxicated was Doe before she ever arrived at Chi Phi? Doe has been reported at different points describing herself as heavily intoxicated, saying she was “10 shots deep,” and describing her intoxication at one point as around 5 out of 10. In one of the recently released recorded calls, Matthew Ingalls also disputed her description of her condition before arriving at Chi Phi, recalling her saying she was sober and hadn't been anywhere. If Moonies can substantiate that it didn't serve her, then that particular allegation in the complaint becomes another inconsistency her attorneys in the civil suit, and potentially prosecutors in any criminal case, may have to explain.

This is a common misconception of the case. Even though the county DA brought no criminal charges, Cornell did its own investigation and ruled that the fraternity seven members violated university policies. Two were expelled. Two were given long suspensions. One (who had graduated) was banned from campus. The two least involved were "ordered not to contact Jane Doe, to study sexual harassment, social media use and bystander intervention, and to write 'reflection papers,'" according to NYT. And then: the entire fraternity was permanently shut down. In the end, the university punished all the members of Chi Phi, whether or not they had anything to do with the events in question. washingtonexaminer.com/daily…
Wait! Until now, I thought Cornell did nothing to the frat members.

When even Daniel Dale has to offer the most throat-clearing, apologetic explanation of Trump's comments, you should probably take a step back and realize you are purposely spreading disinformation.
This isn’t a direct quote from Trump, and I very much don’t think it’s a correct paraphrase. Trump has repeatedly argued that the consequences of the war, like higher gas prices, are a small price to pay compared to what an unchecked Iran could allegedly do. Last night, in especially rambling and incomplete fashion, he 1) claimed high prices are temporary and suggested they’re “artificial”; 2) contrasted that to the damage of Iran supposedly taking out a city; 3) and then, in especially confusing style, repeated his old point that “this,” as in the consequences of the war, is a small price to pay to avoid something like a a city being wiped out. It’s Trump’s fault you kinda have to be steeped in TrumpRallySpeak to know what he was saying last night, and of course you can say it’s inappropriate regardless for the president to casually float the possibility of a city being wiped out, but the context exists and is important.

This is from the Cornell alleged rape victim's lawsuit. It says that before she arrived at the Chi Phi fraternity house on the night in question, she had "consumed about 10 standard drinks within the past 3 hours." Looking at the plaintiff's timeline, it appears nearly all of that drinking took place at her Tri-Delta sorority house. It appears she began drinking at the sorority house before she went to a bar (accompanied by the sorority's adult "house mother") where the sorority was having a party. There, even though she was underage and she was in the presence of the sorority's "sober monitors," she had one drink. Then she went to another bar where she did not have any drinks at all. Then she "stumbled alone," in the words of the lawsuit, to the Chi Phi house. The lawsuit says that in her first minutes at the fraternity house, the guy she came to see gave her a beer, danced with her for a while, and then propositioned her for a threesome. The lawsuit says, "In her drunken state, Plaintiff was incapable of consenting to this proposition." That means she said yes, as the Cornell Office of Civil Rights investigation concluded. At that moment, according to her own lawsuit, the alleged victim had consumed no ketamine and not more than one beer at the fraternity house. And yet she was "incapable of consenting." It seems that if her lawyers, and maybe New York Attorney General Letitia James, want to blame someone for making the alleged victim "incapable of consenting," they might want to look at the Tri-Delta sorority house.

again, this shows people don’t read the interviews. Several of the guys who went in the room and did nothing to the girl, said they went to check and ensure she was ok. She was happy and consenting so they left. You think it’s up to one frat member to go “shut down” a consensual sex act between adults? How does that look? Also, guy 3 did shut it down and kicked everyone out of his room. He’s still being sued.
thefp.com/p/caitlin-flanagan… All I know that a fraternity brother sent a text advertising “free” sex, and there wasn’t one member of the club who was man enough to shut it down.
Community note
Jane Doe's November 2024 sworn statement to Cornell police states that two men entered the room and said they were shutting down whatever the f this is while men were doing drugs off her body. tompkinscountyny.gov/News-articles/… nytimes.com/2026/10/01/nyr… cbsnews.com/news/jane-doe-…

NEW: AP obtained federal records showing where 4.5 million migrants said they were going after being released at the southern border, down to the ZIP code. They came from more than 150 countries, led by Venezuela (773K), Cuba (539K), Mexico (404K), Honduras (388K) and Colombia (354K). Also on the list: India (85K), Russia (46K), Senegal (30K), Turkey (30K), Mauritania (20K) and Uzbekistan (16K). Democrats' border policies opened the door, and migrants livestreaming their journeys on TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp spread the word on how to follow. Cornell fraternity brothers have a different account of the "rape case." Gillio Lopes alleges Jane Doe sexually assaulted him, initiating contact without consent. The Cornell Sun doxxed Lopes as a rapist. Winston Lee also says Doe initiated unwanted contact. Lee later asked to join sexual activity, cautioning Doe that she could leave, before Lee claims that Doe affirmed everyone was "consenting adults." Scott Kretzschmar said he was "befuddled" reading Jonathan Newell's message, with Scott Norris adding that he was "concerned." Kretzschmar and Norris said that Doe was conscious and coherent, Doe says that the pair were "voyeurs" more than anything. The Cornell Sun doxxed them both as rapists. Diego Sarabia, who has lost his job at Wells Fargo because of the affair, said he was "concerned" when he walked in, but Doe assured him the orgy was "normal in medieval times." Follow: @AFpost

Let me go ahead and take one final stab at explaining what happened at Cornell because with all the numbers it can get confusing Here’s all the men and their role in this: - male number 1 is the guy she was into who she went to see after choosing to pregame and get drunk. They met up at his frat house. After the whole encounter she texted him trying to make plans to hook up again but just the two of them this time. There’s no way to assume anything other than consent here. He was in the first and third threesome - male number 2 is the guy 1 proposed having a threesome with after she arrived. She told the police this idea excited her because she thought they might both be gay for eachother. She agreed enthusiastically. Her claimed intoxication level at this point is a few beers. We have to reasonably assume consent here especially given NY’s laws on this. He was in the first and second threesome - male number 3 is who’s room that 80% of the story went down in. He participated in the second threesome with male number 2 in his room, after 1 passed out. He asked to come into the room and she agreed because it was his room. She was on some ketamine at this point but agreed to it. Second threesome consensual - male number 4 is who you can make the best case committed rape. Not a good case, just better than the rest against whom you cannot make a case. At some point one of them texted the Snapchat “free pussy” and four guys came in, 4, 5, 6, 7. She hid under the covers because she became uncomfortable. When they came in 2 offered her more ketamine and she agreed because she’d already done it earlier so “why not”. She did the ketamine off 2’s erect dick in front of all of them. 4 suggested she let everyone do ketamine off her naked body. She said “sure”. After all this insanity, at some point 3 tried to kick everyone out his room. 5 or 6 (they have the same first name so it’s unclear which she meant) told her she can sit down as long as she needed to because she got dizzy from her medical condition and the ketamine but eventually 3 kicked them out and got his room back. 4 then went upstairs with 1 and her and they had the third threesome. She can’t remember how that happened. She doesn’t claim she was unconscious. She doesn’t claim she said no. She can’t remember. - Male number 5 and 6 were literally just in the room from when they got the snap to when they all got kicked out by 3. It’s unclear if they did drugs off her body but she consented to everyone doing it so it wouldn’t matter. Nothing else happened - Male number 7 tried to kiss her and said some rude things to her as soon as he walked into the room after the snap went out. She immediately shut it down. He never had sex with her. She didn’t want to have sex with him and even at this stage of intoxication was able to indicate she wasn’t interested and it was respected. Here’s all the threesomes and their context: First: 1 & 2, the least debatable and most defensible. She wanted it and said so and joked and chose it. 1 eventually passes out from drinking too much Second: 2 & 3 after 1 passes out, she fools around with 2 for a bit before 3 comes into his room and she lets him join and it’s all consensual. 1 wakes up part way through and asks to join and make it a foursome. She says “hell no” because she knew that meant anal and she didn’t want anal. So 1 didn’t join and no one had anal with her. Her boundary was stated and respected. Third: after everyone is kicked out of 3s room, 1 & 4 go into another room with her. She chooses this and still wants 1 alone, 1 on 1. But 4 is there for some reason too. She has no memory of what happened, but they had the threesome. The day after she texts 1 again trying to hook up alone with him so we can assume she consented with 1. 4 is a question mark but she doesn’t remember enough to say she didn’t consent because the ketamine she took voluntarily scrambled her memory nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

Gaza Ministry of Health has now released mortality numbers for 2025. For the first time since the war, they give numbers for all deaths, including natural deaths. In 2025 there were a total of 24,650 deaths in Gaza. 18,870 (76.6%) of these were violent, of which 17,286 (70.1%) were due to "war operations" and 1,584 (6.4%) were classified as accidents. There were a total of 5,780 (23.4%) non-violent deaths, including disease, old age, and all other causes. 5,780 deaths is about the same as the annual non-violent mortality in Gaza before the war, and the age distribution is similar to 2022. There is no significant excess of non-violent deaths. In other words, despite frequent and loud claims to the contrary, there seems to be very few indirect deaths due to the war in Gaza in 2025. As there were 50,227 births in 2025, this gives a natural population growth of 25,577 or 1.2% in Gaza in 2025, which is higher population growth than most countries in the world and more than the world average. There are currently ~6,000 births/month in Gaza, per GMH. Assuming a similar number of non-violent deaths in Gaza in 2026 as in 2025, that means there are currently 12x more births than deaths in Gaza, and that Gaza is now experiencing one of the highest population growths in the world.

NEW: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Border Patrol is actively tracking a migrant caravan that originated in Honduras and is now moving through southern Mexico with hopes of reaching the US/Mexico border. DHS is warning the migrants that catch and release is over, and anyone caught crossing the border illegally will be arrested and deported. The caravan reportedly left the southern Mexican city of Tapachula, MX yesterday as it moves north, and is predominantly made up of Hondurans, Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Ecuadoreans, and Haitians. DHS statement to FOX: "The United States Border Patrol is actively tracking a migrant caravan which departed San Pedro Sula, Honduras on September 20, 2026. USBP is closely engaged with its international partners to monitor their movement and any additional developments. USBP reminds migrants that under the leadership of President Trump and Homeland Secretary Mullin, the border has remained closed and secured for the last 16 months. Migrants considering making the dangerous journey to our country should also be aware that the days of “catch and release” are over, and Biden’s disastrous open border policy has been SEALED SHUT. Anyone attempting to illegally enter the United States will be apprehended, prosecuted, and removed from the country."
