Hoover Dam! Massive scale and beautiful. I didn’t know they had a presidential naming battle over that. FDR didn’t want to have it named after Hoover, so tried his best to call it “Boulder Dam”. Was formally named Hoover Dam by Truman in 1947.

1) Flight from Sydney to LA 5 yo: liked that the airplane had a TV screen, and a cuddly pillow. 9 yo: liked the fried chicken at Finneys. Liked that one building we drove past that changed colours.

6) Yosemite National Park - an amazing beautiful place. Stayed 5 nights. Everything is convenient and well managed. Went on lovely walks every day.

apparently it’s spectrum coded to like routine. well I’m sorry but my factorio grade family household workflow routine is carefully optimised over hundreds of iterations so any deviation will probably be a downgrade
