Most exploits hit exchanges within 6 hours and the money's gone. The bottleneck was never the whitehat's identity, it's always "why won't the exchange talk to us." If Accountable's legal cover actually makes exchanges move faster, this is real. Otherwise it's just paperwork.

Anonymous response lowers the first-contact barrier; the next challenge is trusted execution under pressure. Pre-agreed encrypted channels, proof-of-control methods, scope limits, and evidence/chain-of-custody rules let a pseudonymous whitehat help without creating a second incident.
