Been a while since I’ve seen art hit like this. Massive respect to Drop Ded Gorgez team. I’ve had the chance to talk with some of the team and founders, and what stands out isn’t just the art, it’s the mindset. These guys have seen the good, bad, and ugly of Web3 firsthand. They understand that real IP isn’t built on hype alone. It’s built through community, lore, identity, and long term vision. The art is absolutely fire, but the deeper value is how much they genuinely care about building something people feel a part of. Feels like one of those teams quietly laying foundations for something much bigger. I’m bullish on what’s ahead.

This weekend @CryptoGarga followed me, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on Yuga and Garga’s leadership. I’ve been a diehard @yugalabs fan since early ’21. At @KodaSociety just a very small crew of average guys—we put nearly half a million into the vision of Otherside. We dreamed, we speculated, and it was beautiful. Web3 has been brutal. I’ve been a critic, a fanatic, and at times, a martyr. Through it all, Yuga had its share of challenges. But when most projects asked “how do we become profitable, how do we even exist,” Garga and @GordonGoner said: let’s build a fucking Metaverse. Web3 is the digital frontier—the wild west. When the bear market came, the desert wasteland of the NFT apocalypse, everyone else asked “how do we survive?” Yuga said: here’s a life raft. They weren’t just trying to save themselves—they tried to take entire IPs with them. A metaverse? People laughed. Some said Yuga bit off more than they could chew. But through trials, FUD, and endless battles, they pushed forward anyway. And it looks like they may have actually done something insane, epic, and revolutionary. At Koda Society, we still hold 50+ deeds and multiple Kodas. I think most people are still under-prepared for what’s coming. Because guess what, looks like they're actually doing it. They're laying the first foundations for the digital future. And who would’ve guessed? Looks like @Moonbirds might just be joining the party. Thanks @CryptoGarga for the follow.

I’ve had the chance to watch @lucaNetz closely and even interview him about community, vision, strategies, and the future of Web3 as a whole. Here's my take on @pudgypenguins and @moonbirds I can tell you, Luca sees the playing field very different than the average Web3 founder team, who mostly only care about extracting from their communities. @Spencer watched Luca lead what was once one of the most toxic communities in the space: @pudgypenguins Before Luca, their Discord was dead and uninviting. I visited numerous times because I loved the art, but I passed on joining because of how toxic it felt. Not all, but many holders had given up. I had no idea at the time that Luca would take over just a few short months later. We all watched as Luca rallied the base and grew it into a movement with almost cult-like belief, because he was charismatic, honest, loyal, and brilliant. Nobody had seen a founder like Luca in Web3. He was an anomaly. A King Arthur in a cesspool of unoriginal, mostly bad actors. Fast forward to now. @spencer is Luca 2.0. He was one of the largest Pudgy holders, believed in Luca’s ethos, drank the Kool-Aid, and turned that conviction into tens of millions for his investment group by holding big bags of @pudgypenguins through it all. From there, he launched @vibes_tcg arguably one of the most successful figital Web3 IPs to date. Luca quite literally hand-crafted this guy, his protégé. And now Spencer is following the exact same playbook. He’s building his own cult, and nothing is stopping him. This will spread to every corner of the earth—and Moonbirds will become a top blue-chip, overtaking other IPs with ease. I’m a huge fan of many other Web3 IPs, but none have cared for their communities the way Luca and Spencer do. These guys would jump in front of a bus for their holders. To them, the community is family. Their entire heart and soul is in it. Mark my words: Moonbirds will be a top blue-chip project this cycle. And when the Moonbirds TCG launches, it will send the project into the stratosphere. I may be late to the party, but it’s clear as day to me, this is the #1 bet for this cycle.
