just be careful with making collections! i have it turned off to allow readers to add my fics to collections because if a user adds a work to a collection and then makes that collection private the fic (even though it’s your work!) will disappear from public view!
You create your own collections! (Like a folder)
Then for ongoing fics, i edit bookmark and type the chapter I read last then just sort the search bar of the collection by “date updated” so that I can see on top which has new updates.
Is this not how you all organize your AO3?
