I've never seen anything like it. Only just turned 16 and achieved precisely nothing at senior level to this point. His camp are putting hugely undue pressure on a kid who is unbelievably talented but for the sake of his own development, just needs to get his head down and play when he gets the chance. Even before he's made a senior appearance the pressure has 100x'd. Crazy management.

Some perspective on the money OUT of Man Utd because of the Glazers' LBO vs the money IN to Man City via sham sponsorships. There has not been a level playing field. New @tplmufc with @thePoS_007 out now. Some really good info from Jamie. Check it out.

Cash operating costs are down £53mn. But the more interesting story is where the money is going instead: fewer non-football staff, more players, and a cost base pointed at revenue. When you think about all the absolutely mind blowing aspects of this Man City case, is it not the craziest thing that the CEO has had to deny that he’s a robot

The emails are the killer. They knew what they were doing was wrong as they were doing it and still did it anyway….for years.
Their argument makes no sense Cause if it was all above board that the money was coming from Abu Dhabi then why would they have to disguise it as coming in to the club as sponsorship payments? You don’t reroute genuine income and label it as coming from different sources than it came from

The emails have been out there since 2018. If you were somehow shocked that they did wrong and believed the club line the whole time…it’s your own fault. Head buried in sand. I was shocked at the scale of it. But the emails told us all along something was wrong.

All of a sudden United’s Glazer LBO is a problem for City fans while it’s been a joke point for them the entire time - while United fans have been protesting against them for over 20 years. Funny that we’ve arrived here isn’t it?
Man City’s owners made one crucial mistake: they used their OWN money to invest in the club. If they’d borrowed that £900m in the club’s name and piled up £1bn+ of debt like Man United’s owners, apparently that would’ve been “sustainable.” One is seen to be sustainable. The other one isn’t. The funny part is which is which.

Spot on.
I openly laugh at people complaining that the Red Cartel introduced FFP/PSR to prevent smaller clubs from growing (FFP was introduced to prevent smaller clubs, who often spent beyond their means from getting liquidated & data has shown that the process has been a success). The PL should be thankful to the so-called Red Cartel because without Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal agreeing to share the TV money equally, the PL wouldn't have become the best league in the world. Had it been a La Liga system of proportionate distribution, your Brightons, Palaces, Bournemouths would have been no better than the Deportivos, Levantes and Elches. So they ought to be very careful about how they punish Man City. Because if these 3 decide to walk away after losing faith in the integrity of the league, the league is done.

The collective psychosis among the professional class of pundits and ex players here is becoming truly bizarre. There is no scenario in which Guardiola isn’t tainted by this. To suggest anything else is delusion.
