Today, I graduate. 🎓
And honestly, this feels bigger than a degree.
The journey started long before this day.
There was a time when the struggle to gain admission became so overwhelming that I almost convinced myself that school wasn't meant for me anymore.
I almost gave up.
But I kept pushing, and by Allah's grace, I got admitted.
Then the real battle began.
Financial struggles.
Mental battles.
Hardships.
Sleepless nights.
Unexpected ups and downs.
Moments of exhaustion.
Moments when my health was failing me.
Moments when I sat down to study and my brain simply refused to cooperate.
There were nights I almost broke down.
There were moments when quitting would've been easier.
But I prayed.
I endured.
I persisted.
I persevered.
I became resilient.
I kept battling.
I kept studying.
I kept moving.
I kept pushing,.even when I had very little strength left.
And today, I am standing here as a graduate.🎓
This isn't just about degree.
This is evidence.
Evidence that I survived storms that were meant to break me.
Evidence that what looks impossible can become possible when you refuse to surrender.
Evidence that I can go beyond the limits I once placed on myself.
Evidence that success is attainable when you give it everything you have and refuse to give up.
I didn't get here because the road was easy.
I got here because God made a way through every road that looked impossible.
All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Whatever happened was by His will.
Whatever I survived was by His permission.
Whatever I achieved was by His grace.
Today, I don't just celebrate a degree.
I celebrate the boy who almost gave up but kept going.
I celebrate every sleepless night.
Every silent battle.
Every setback.
Every prayer.
Every tear.
Every time I had to start again.
And above everything else, I celebrate the mercy and favour of Allah.
Alhamdulillah. 🤲🏽🎓
