How about you eliminate short term capital gains tax for zoomers turning over their entire portfolio monthly?..
BREAKING: President Trump's capital gains tax cut discussions include "indexing" capital gains for inflation BEFORE taxes are calculated.
This would mean that taxes would be applied on gains adjusted for inflation.
For example, if you purchased a stock for $100,000 and sold it 5 years later for $200,000.
Under the current system, you would owe capital gains taxes on the full $100,000 gain.
But, if cumulative inflation over those 5 years was 20%, your inflation-adjusted cost basis would rise to $120,000.
This means you would only owe capital gains taxes on the $80,000 REAL gain, rather than the $100,000 nominal gain.
Trump has also suggested exemptions for sales of homes worth $2 million or less from capital gains taxes.

Getting the most out of AI will require huge changes from incumbents, organizationally and financially.
Outsider disruption is the classic answer to this and will still happen.
The FDE model is the main hope for incumbents and also for AI co’s that want to keep the fud down to a simmer.
overheard from a fortune 20 company - ceo asked for $1 billion in AI generated opex savings at the beginning of this year.
the team as a result has spent $200 million on tokens trying to achieve those savings year-to-date, with minimal results other than some modest Cx savings and a bit of savings on engineering due to less hiring driven by coding assistants. now as back-half budgets are being reviewed, it appears that the ceo has ordered token costs to be dramatically slashed as he/she doesn't feel the ROI is there yet (for their company).
gonna be interesting to see if this is a trend amongst the rest of the fortune 500.
