Last night I bought my barber his first NFT.
What made it cool is this was probably the third time he’s brought up NFTs with me, so I knew there was some genuine curiosity there.
Before my haircut, I was hanging out in Dood and Chill. I hopped off when I got there, but @atarigod texted me and told me to jump back in.
Perfect timing because my barber had literally just asked me about NFTs.
So I said, “My boy just texted me to jump back into a Spaces where I hang out and talk with my X homies. You can see one of the main reasons I love it here.”
The moment I jumped in, you had two VERY different people talking and my barber was dying. 😂

He thought the whole thing was so cool.
So I finally said, “You know what? I’m buying my barber his first NFT.”
He started looking through the Doodles floor, found one he liked, and of course he picked a dude with a mullet. 😂
Perfect NFT for a barber.
All while cutting my hair.
Business in the front. Party in the back.
This is probably my favorite part of the NFT space.
Community. Culture. Relationships.
And onboarding people through genuinely good experiences instead of trying to convince them they should care.
That’s how you grow the space.
