It sends audio and telemetry to browsers, and one listener can control it. You could adapt it to a camera or robot.

One other WebRTC thing we did for GPT-Live: we worked with @_pion to build a production-quality Opus decoder in Go, and are now using it in our systems. It supports the full Opus bitstream, has performance close to the C version, and is much more secure!

I’m building a #pion based ai first SFU for a up coming project.
And honestly, every serious SFU setup needs a live dashboard like this.
Real-time media infra is too hard to debug blindly.
You need live visibility into rooms, participants, forwarded tracks, relay links, region health, packet loss, jitter, RTT, and egress.

This uses lemonslice.com and LiveKit so probably uses Pion (or maybe it uses a different transport not sure?)
I love this AI roleplaying stuff. Families will go through, and maybe some kids will get curious in tech/history.
Way cooler then productivity tools!

Great project!
Running your own stuff on your own network is so important. I love seeing people build their own things that serve them.
Vibecoded: WebRTC TV.
Run the server. Connect from a browser and start camera. Connect from another browser and see the camera feed.
The primary purpose is a private, no-cloud, home security system. The secondary purpose is learning WebRTC, which essentially recreates half of internet protocols inside.
