I like Larkin a lot and think he’d be a great fit. It’s cost certainty that helps them in the long run with an upcoming raise for Hutson. That being said I would be sad if I meant trading Dylan Strome. I just don’t see how else you make the money work if it isn’t Strome.
Told that talks advanced between Red Wings and a couple of teams on Larkin's current trade list.
We'll see how this evolves, but have not gotten any notion that this is a pressure tactic to expand his list of teams as of yet.
Interested in what Minny, Washington & Carolina do.
