This topic reminding me of when one of my roommates in my junior year cut a key for her boyfriend she only met a MONTH prior. When she refused to get it back after I asked nicely several times I had to get Bahamian loud and threaten legal action for her to take it back
Yall remember that story where 2 girls were college roommates & the boyfriend was over all the time and then the boyfriend sexually assaulted the roommate and then they killed her because she went to the police? Yes exactly. That’s why your boyfriend can’t be there all the time.

I don't trust people who speak against holding grudges. And none of that "resentment is like poison" bs especially when I'm not keeping them around. I can compartmentalize just fine and hold things against people who did me wrong. I sleep better knowing they can't try me again.

The weird concept that if women just dated less attractive men then they wouldn’t get abused is as tired as it is wrong.
It’s a bizarre attempt to get women to date down under the guise of “but I won’t hurt you” as if the less attractive man would just be grateful that a woman is with him.
Thats not how abuse works. In fact, there’s a far stronger argument to be made that men who know they could never do any better than the woman they’re with are more likely to resort to abusive tactics to keep her.

This is one of those things that I can’t tell if it’s actually happening more if I’ve just started to notice it more, but holy fuck so many people in public act as if they are the only person that exists or matters.
Is it just me or anyone else noticed social and spatial awareness completely vanishing? People freezing in doorways, hogging the entire sidewalk, planted in front of exits, blocking whole aisles, stopping at the top of escalators… Get out of the way. Other people exist here too.
