I think if your idea of rehabilitative justice is the idea that a rapists actions should just be brushed under the rug and never spoken about and you're not allowed to feel bad about it and you shouldn't ruin a promising young mans career,,,, youre probably on the wrong side

also wild how yall just blindly accept the very strange account of events the rapist has to say at face value. yeah sure he was immediately remorseful and cooperated with authorities and the victim doesn't want anyone to talk about it and hes very vague about what he actually did
