Those are among the replies piling up under Gunn’s post after he shared David Ellison’s video announcing the new Skydance empire.
One of the top Instagram comments simply reads: “Holy monopoly.”
Even fans defending Gunn are basically making the same argument: he has a job to protect.
And that part has some context.
Gunn and Peter Safran were just told to “keep doing what you’re doing,” but received no new deals or guarantees.
Their DC Studios contracts expire in April 2027.
