The biggest problem facing DSA right now is that the chapters with the most potential to break are the chapters least likely to to. If NYC/LA DSA had the politics of RI DSA we would be the most GOATed leftists in the imperial core since 1968
I feel that if the DSA manages to cement itself in deep blue urban centres (ie hostile takeover of NYC Democrats) it could run its candidates on an independent ballotline

If NYC had the politics of RI, we would instantly lose almost all our electeds, either on third party lines in the next cycle or when we unendorse them for innocuous reasons. RI’s strategy is out of step with MUG’s and DSA’s democratically-decided principles:

I don’t think you’re fully up-to-date on the state of RI’s electoral project. Regardless, my main point was that if you want us to take those steps towards a clean break, that is out-of-step with the strategy MUG advanced and DSA passed last convention (which is your right ofc)

By the standards of these pts, DSA / MUG has already failed - see Zohran's capitulations on Palestine or policing. The Dem establishment is evidently capable of enforcing its line upon insurgent candidates

“Acting as a party but without a dedicated ballot line” also means the Dems shouldn’t be the dedicated ballot line

It’s crazy for a SMC kafir to question my commitment to MUG Sharia by discrediting the fiqh of breaking with the Dems. I was told I was nominated to MUG partially *for* my article in Cosmonaut about the break. @aaronnarraph don’t question my deen, I am ahl al kitab, you mushrik
