Nice meeting Greg from @Cookiecad at the @MakerFaireOC last weekend. 😊 I hadn't tried their filament yet, but I love their colors. My daughter picked out a spool of Vanilla Redberry that we took home. We chose a few of my models to print and the filament looks fantastic! 🤍🩷

Some practical #3DPrinting last weekend worked very well in my classroom for a few different activities last week. I have 46 seats this year for my largest class, so my other classes have extra desks. I made some for other teachers too. Model coming soon to @Cults3D.

Distributed my annual Yellow Ribbon Week keychains to all of my students this week. 😊 Through various events as a school, we take the opportunity to discuss suicide prevention and promote positive mental health. 🎗️💛

It's taken me three weeks since the start of school to catch my breath. Always a whirlwind in August!
My "BRB Post" has worked very well when students sign out to use the restroom. They place this on their desk and we can more easily track only one out at a time. I've printed several more for other teachers already! The bright @PrintedSolid colors make it easy to spot among 40 students. Model coming soon to @Cults3D.

I made this "Straight Sword" for a friend's costume. Most of what I found online was too fancy and/or looked unprintable. Easier (and more fun) to design my own! Prints in two parts with single extrusion, and I didn't need glue. At @Cults3D. Link in bio & comments.

To make it large, I utilized the diagonal of my @Prusa3D XL. We printed in @Prusament Galaxy Black and @Hatchbox3D Silver PLA. The pieces slide together. A smaller model is posted too for MK4S size printers. STLs at @Cults3D: cults3d.com/:4644467
